Does the job, but hard to use.

I bought this just two days back and tried it on my new belt to resize it. Sturdy and well packed with a manual is impressive. Just watch the uploaded video to know how good it is in my first try. I have kept an additional belt underneath to avoid any damages to the new belt. To conclude as of now in my initial observations, it is much better than the previous one, the rotation is smooth and locks well in position. Description says drop forged steel, if so it will retain its sharpness for a longer period. Let's see. Will update if required. At 399, I am impressed. UPDATE AFTER USING IT ON 8 BELTS: I almost resized some 8 good quality leather belts, the punch really impressed me. It was effortless to make perfect holes in leather belts. Much much better than the one I used before. At this price point of 399, it's worth buying and solves the purpose effectively. Thank you Amazon FINAL UPDATE I bought a raw cow hide and made few belts myself at home, even after using it for around 20 plus punches, this punch worked on the tough raw hide too. All the holes in the white belts are made by this punch. Now I have ordered again for my friend too. This one served the purpose very well for me.

４０年以上前に購入した同タイプの物がアルミ缶への 使用でヘタって来たので購入しました。 やはり新しい物はいい物で、気持ち良く穴が開きます。 少し厚めの紙を座側に挟んで開けると綺麗な穴が開き、 パンチもヘタリ難くなります。 なお、不満点としてパンチの切替が重く回すのに手袋 が必要な事と、φ２.５パンチ穴にバリが残っていた 事が有りました。
