Dakine Split Roller Bag - Carbon, 85 Liter

In a past life I was a bag designer and product manager for a fairly well known line, so I'm pretty picky. This is my first DAKINE bag and it exceeds all expectations. Great layout of pockets and compartments, excellent materials, outstanding sewing. Currently traveling with the bag and it's a pleasure to move through airports and train stations with. A great value as it feels like a more expensive bag. Would absolutely recommend, and plan to buy the carry-on size when I return home.

Great bag. Expands as needed. Outer straps tighten up the load. Handle extends different lengths for taller people. Zippers are heavy duty. Packed for 3week intl trip and had plenty of room. Exterior handles everywhere makes picking it up and loading very ergonomic. Very sturdy bag. You won’t be disappointed.

The bag is a good size for a week long trip. Definitely not carry on size. I love the two compartments makes it easy to keep folded clothes neat but still have the capacity of a duffle. The wheels roll smoothly and the handle seems pretty sturdy. Have only done one trip so I can’t speak to the durability yet.

I had a more expensive name brand bag in this format that wore out, and I was a little reluctant to buy a less expensive alternative, but the bag serves me well. What I really like is the size. It's a little taller and narrower than other bags, which makes it easier to maneuver through airports. The split sides allow you to pack a lot of gear. I use packing cubes, and the combination of cubes and this bag is like having a portable dresser along for the trip. I haven't yet had time to travel with it extensively, but so far it appears to be sturdy, and the zippers appear strong enough.

I have had this brand before and used it for 10 years.......handles 2 weeks worth of trip needs in a light setup easy to move with.

I needed a big check-in piece of luggage and didn't want the run of the mill plastic stuff that I've traditionally had. I got this DaKine bag and really love it. I got it for longer surf trips but I first used it to go to a cold-weather wedding. I managed to pack two pairs of shoes, a suit, a peacoat, and the rest of my daily attire with room to spare. The compartments are great and there was even more room in the front pockets which I did not use. It rolled really smooth at the airport too and is just flat out way cooler to support a surf brand than some of these other haoles.

It looks good, it's organizationally super functional, and it's easy to carry and roll for luggage of its size.

Wirklich hervoragende Qualität und durch die ausklappbaren Plastikteile auch gut stabil. Der Koffer kippt nicht ständig um wie unsere alten Reisetaschen. Schöne Unterteilung im Inneren mit verschieden Fächern, auch für Schuhe - mega viel Stauraum, sieht von außen gar nicht so aus. Bei Bedarf kann man die Taschen relativ klein zusammenlegen, wenn man sie beispielweise bei einem Urlaub im Ausland in einem Wohnmobil verstauen muss. Die Gurte halten das ganze kompakt und ersparen Extra-Gurte. Das Gestänge ist sehr stabil und auch die Rollen wirken sehr langlebig. 2 Urlaube auf jeden Fall schon bravorös gemeistert - wir können die Koffer wirklich empfehlen

Lightweight yet sturdy, it can fit comfortably dinner jackets as well as dresses and bulky stuff. The three compartments are so brilliant that it made our life on a road trip easier than ever. We travel all over the world and this one is now my favourite since it can stand up straight without collapsing on someone’s foot ! I love it. Another important thing is that it doesn’t matter if it rains your clothes get to the destination in perfect shape ! Excellent choice

Je voulais acheter une valise pour mes voyages en train, quelque chose avec les roulettes mais assez facile à apporter sur les escaliers. J'aime bien le qualité de ce produit, et aussi la possibilité de bien ranger les affaires à l'intérieure et de le ranger facilement dans le placard, mais comme je suis une petite femme, il est trop lourd pour les escaliers. Je vais continuer à l'utiliser mais je continue aussi à chercher un autre.
