Although the kit is enclosed in a small box, I was IMPRESSED by how many "goodies" were included in the box. Not only were the jewelry pieces nicely varied, but the jewelry-making tools were of impeccable quality. This beginner is happy with his purchase and would gladly recommend it to other novices! Further, the accompanying online videos are very easy to follow and make each step of the jewelry production phases crystal clear. Additionally, the woman who presents the lessons has a nice way of using her voice to exude enthusiasm. I think I am enjoying this learning process because she enjoys teaching so much!!!!

I had initially listed a poor review as the instruction booklet and how to find the tutorial videos was not included in my kit. I messaged the seller and it was resolved promptly so now I can fully enjoy this kit. It has everything I need to get started all in a nice compact case. Great kit for the price in my opinion. I also searched for glass beads and found more to add to the kit for different looks. Updated: Had a crafting party and brought my bead kit. I bought a bag of mixed glass beads from Amazon as well which was a great addition. The videos are also so helpful. The lower necklace is made with beads soley from the kit and from the Illusion necklace video. the necklace above it is the mix of glass beads and kits beads. Really enjoying making things with it - it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be...

Well, this kit was better than expected. Tools were well made and function well. I was a little disappointed with quality of the "gems" as they were mostly resin or plastic, I was hoping for more glass beads. All in all a very nice kit for beginners interested in learning the "how to" of jewelry making. My daughter went on line and made her first bracelet in just a few hours. She enjoyed the experience. Thanks.

I am genuinely surprised at how perfect this kit is for people just starting out in jewelry making. It has everything you need to just start, right from the box. The container everything comes in is so great too - a 3 tier plastic organizer, with compartments. All the different beads and components are also pre-packaged in individual plastic bags. I don't understand the reviews that say it doesn't include enough beads. This isn't meant to supply you with beads for a whole year. It's meant as an introduction to jewelry making. And even so there is enough in here to make quite a bit of stuff. I like that it came with a variety of beads and charms, so I can see which type I really gravitate towards and enjoy. Would buy this as a gift, and in fact I'm ordering another one for my mom.

Gifted this to mature 11 yo tween girly-girl would loves to craft. It contains beginner tools and links to instructional videos to teach how to make jewelry. Bought extra beads, wire, cord, earring bases and hardware so she could make more sets. She is enjoying wearing one-of-a-kind jewelry sets and making things for her friends, sisters and mom. An unexpected plus is she is talking to Mom and Dad more as she still needs a bit of help with some tasks. Tween tend to pull away from parents so it is hard to keep them engaged.

As a cynical adult-ish person, I was a bit disappointed in the rather small number of beads and findings included in this kit, especially for the price. Thankfully the 10-year-old it was intended for loved it. It was the hit of the birthday party. She was completely focused for days after, making bracelets and earrings for all her friends and herself. Now she’s discovered craft stores and aisles of beads and findings and charms. She has made birthday gifts for friends using new materials, but it all started with this kit.

The closest I’ve ever been to making jewelry is string beads on a string a tying a knot. lol This was the perfect kit for me because not only did it come with helpful videos for people who know next to nothing like I did, but every single thing you need to get you up and running! I would recommend buying this for sure!
