How deep is the stapler? (If you put the paper all the way in and stapled it in the middle, how far from the edge would the staple land, in inches?)

My first reaction was what the hell. I staple papers, it looks good and works great. I don't use a ruler to measure where I staple inches or centimeters from the edge of the paper. Its a great stapler I am thinking about purchasing another just because I like it so much. I highly recommend it. Oh I got the gold one.

Hi and I'm not sure I can answer this question. First of all this is not the stapler I have. Mine is electric. I love this stapler and I use the same kind iof staple in my electric one that I have used in all my previous staplers. The ones I have been using is a Standard staple, 5000 chisel point staples in the box from Bostitch. The box does not give size like in your question. The box simply says use in any standard stapler. Seems like that would work for you too.
