The book weighs a ton, but has tons of information, too.

As described, worked so I could access the Pearson ecology and evolution class for college! Will see at the end of the semester if it is multi-term access. So far very happy! Thanks! *always check the ISBN number to make sure it’s the right card required for your class, otherwise it won’t work. This one was what I needed.

I recieved a "rental only" copy of the purchased book but it is ultimately correct.

The new e-book of Campbell Biology (12th edition) has lots of blank pages and incomplete figures. I would stick with the eleventh edition. The changes in the twelfth are not major. This new E-book is not worth the 80+ dollars. I hope that Kindle can get with the publisher, correct these issues, and get fixed versions out to those who purchased it.

The binding was loose from the first few pages on arrival, it would've easily ripped away from the rest of the book if I'd opened it the wrong way. I assume a bit of dry rot is the culprit. Luckily I did not open it incorrectly and immediately noticed the cover trying to escape the rest of the literature. I will probably glue it back eventually for now I don't have to carry the book everyday and so it isn't in any danger.

I could say this is one of the best books for biological studies. The publisher provided the high quality images for lectures slides preparation.

Love this book but the hard copy version is so heavy. Now I can take the kindle version everywhere with me.
