Super sharp
Be careful, as this is very sharp, and if you are not used to high quality sharp knives you might nick yourself, otherwise an excellent knife.

Best cooking knife value I have seen this year (2025)
I bought this knife on Black Friday. It was an impulse buy. The price was excellent. Long story short, it completely exceeded my expectations. Best value for the price of any knife I have purchased this year. The workmanship is good. The handle(s) are tight, and there are no gaps between handle and metal. The metal is full tang. The rivets are tight and completely flush. There are no protruding rivets and no sunken rivets. The metal is thicker than I expected, and gives he knife a pleasant weight. The balance is good and the knife fits well into my hand. The factory edge was moderately sharp, but I sharpened the knife anyhow to get the edge I prefer. The blade took well to sharpening, and captured a satisfactory edge across the whole blade. No dull spots. I've only had the knife for a few weeks, and I already like it better than some of my other small knives. I don't know yet, how long it will keep a sharp edge. But after a couple weeks, it's still holding-up very well. I'm thinking, now, that I may want to buy some of the other Henckels knives that are advertised as "chef class". PS - Definitely not a "paring knife". More like mini chef knife or a special purpose utility knife.

Great value!
Very sharp and high quality, good value for the money. Has stayed sharp for over 6 months and I love the size of it, a little larger than most other paring knives which I like because it's more versatile.

A solid Henkel value
PROS: - This looks like one of the more expensive Henkel's knives. - The handle is their standard three-rivet design made of (painted/stained?) wood. - I like the point on the knife as it lends itself to more detailed cutting. - Great value! Who's heard of a sub-$15 Henkel knife?!? However, this is where *MY* PROS end. It has some issues (for MY use case) that led to my returning it. CONS: - The spine is too thick. I prefer a paring knife that has a VERY thin spine so it doesn't get caught "splitting" hard vegetables rather than cutting/slicing through them. - The height of the blade is too high. This more like a 4" chef's knife than a paring knife. The height of the blade makes "turning cuts" almost impossible. Carving intricate shapes is more difficult than necessary. - The blade is REALLY stiff with almost no flex. This may be a plus for you, but not for me. I like a more flexible blade for paring. - While fairly sharp, with a good utility edge, it really needs to be sharpened to get a top-notch edge. It's good, but needs a good "polishing" to reach its potential. - The handle is their basic three-rivet wood handle. I've had Henkel knives with this handle and the rivets began to corrode in the dishwasher after a few years. Because of this, I prefer a plastic handle that'll last forever in a utility paring knife. While this is a fairly good knife in its own right, I decided to return it in favor of the Victorinox 6.7703 4" paring knife. It's spine and height are about 2/3 the that of the Henkel knife. It is also razor sharp out of the box (did I mention it's SHARP?). It has a plastic and contoured handle. The blade is slightly flexible and the point is good, but I prefer the point on the Henkel knife. Oh, and the Victorinox is about a buck cheaper. If my description of the PROS of this Henkel knife are what you are looking for, by all means by it now! It's a great buy. It just isn't what I was looking for...

Excellent quality!
Most likely the best paring knife I’ve ever purchased. I wanted something better quality than what I’ve had in the past so I tried this one and think it it’s all you could ask for. Feels very good in your hand and it’s truly razor sharp, cutting and peeling is now a breeze! My only wish is that it came with a jacket. I did buy one for it and would recommend that too because… It truly is razor sharp!

Henkel pairing knife
I recently purchased the Henkel pairing knife, and it has quickly become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its sleek design and comfortable grip. The high-quality stainless steel blade is not only sharp but also incredibly durable, making it perfect for precision tasks such as peeling, trimming, and slicing small fruits and vegetables. One of the standout features of this knife is its balance. It feels perfectly weighted in my hand, allowing for effortless maneuverability. Whether I’m crafting intricate garnishes or simply preparing my daily meals, this knife provides the control I need to execute every cut with confidence. The ergonomic handle is another highlight. It fits comfortably in my grip, reducing hand fatigue during longer prep sessions. Plus, the stylish design adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen tools. Cleaning is a breeze, as the blade resists sticking and is easy to wipe down. I appreciate that it’s also dishwasher safe, although I prefer handwashing to maintain its pristine condition. Overall, the Henkel pairing knife is a fantastic investment for any home cook or professional chef. Its blend of quality, comfort, and precision makes it an essential addition to any culinary toolkit. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish pairing knife, look no further—this one is a winner!

extremely sharp but rusts easily
Very sharp but rusts easily! Out of the box, this knife is fantastic. Extremely sharp and cuts through things well. However just after a few uses, the edge already rusted. No dishwasher use just hand wash. Don’t recommend due to the rusting.

Great knifes....just buy them!
This steak knife set exceeded my expectations. Each knife feels substantial without being heavy, and the serrated blades glide through meat like butter — no tearing, no sawing, just clean cuts every time. The design is sleek and timeless, with a comfortable grip that makes them a pleasure to use. Henckels clearly put thought into both form and function. These knives look great on the table and perform like premium tools in the kitchen. They’ve held up beautifully after multiple uses and washes, and I appreciate that they’re dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. The microserated edges feel like they will stay sharp for a long time. If you're looking for a reliable set of steak knives at a reasonable price, this is it. I’d absolutely buy them again.

Great knife at a good price.
I wanted a small, good quality but affordable paring knife but found that ordering from Zwilling online came with a hefty shipping cost compared to the cost of the knife itself. Was happily surprised to find what I wanted on Amazon with free shipping under Prime. An excellent, all purpose small knife. It arrives razor sharp so take care!

Comfortable, thin and flexible blade
There is not greater joy in a kitchen than having the right tool for the job. Great knife, it holds its' edge really well, and it's thin enough to make cutting fairly easy without requiring a lot of force. Exactly what I wanted out of a paring knife.

Good quality
Nice quality and sharp. But blade is deeper than my other same brand knives and I had to hack the slot in my wood block for it to fit.
