Works pretty well. Was on fence about the rave.

This is a good product and it definitely worked really well for my dog almost immediately. However it only lasted 4 days and is advertised to last up to 30 days. That is a huge disappointment because I do like the product, and the price is great. If it worked even 20 days I would consider it a win because of how much it helped my dog with his separation anxiety while I am at work. I never expected it to only last 4 days. If it lasted longer I would have given it a 5 star rating.

The item has a very lovely lavender scent but I can only smell it when right on top of it. Not sure if the dogs are more sensitive to it. I also got this for my anxiety ridden pup and I noticed jo change for him. I wouldn’t buy it again because it doesn’t work for the reason intended but the lavender smell is nice but does not permeate the room.

I will start by saying I was super skeptical of this product actually working - I felt like I was at the end of my rope with my dog's random anxiety and inability to calm herself. I have a rescue dog who sporadically gets anxious, shakes and generally has to be on top of me in order to calm down - this sometimes occurs in the middle of the night, which results in zero sleep for me or for her. I purchased the Pheromone Diffuser Kit in hopes that she would stay in her bed and sleep through the night. I can, without hesitation say, this is the best thing that I have ever purchased for my dog. On the first night, she stayed in her bed and slept soundly - this has completely changed her behavior at night. I am so convinced that this product has been the catalyst for her calm demeanor at night that I have purchased more diffusers to put in areas where she hangs out during the day. We have been using this product for two months and it still works as good as the first day - my dog has only had one night where she became anxious in the middle of the night - this is a significant improvement over what was occurring before using this diffuser. I only turn it on (using the button) at night, this allows the diffuser to last longer than 30 days. The smell is really nice, kind of a lavender, but not super overwhelming or powerful. I would highly recommend this product.

I put these in my Dad's house a few hours before he came in with Archie, a new year old Airedale male. He already has an 11yr old grumpy diabetic female Shauzer Angie and a 7yr old Airedale female Layla who's still very playful. We thought that the 2 females appeared a bit calmer before Archie joined the pac, and it's been on for 10 days now and every one is doing fine. I've used Adaptyl and Thunder Ease diffusers in my home for almost 9 months now for my 2 Yorkies. Neither one of those brands lasted 30 days consistently, which is why I was looking for a less expensive alternative with the doggie pheromones that my Vet recommended. I figured out the problem with Adaptyl and Thunder Ease was that the diffusers filters were not long enough to reach the bottles bottom and absorb all the oil. It's a shame that I have quite a few bottles with product still in them. I have 3 of these diffusers in my Dad's house. I removed one because my very sensitive nose couldn't tolerate the scent. I did put it back in, and the scent was not noticeable the last time I was there. So far it's good.

I have an older dog who has become rather aggressive in her old age. Grumpy dog seems to attack her sister for no reason while she is sleeping. She has always had a dominant personality but just seems to be super cranky lately. I got this hoping it would calm her down, I have tried calming treats but she has skin issues and turns her nose up to anything she suspects is not a real treat. Also, she guards her treats from the other dog instead of actually eating them. This just causes more agression. I plugged this in and noticed the Lavendar smell almost immediately. Both dogs are crated at night in their own crates so I turned it off at night. I liked that there was an on / off switch so you did not have to have it on all of the time. Even with only using it during the day it only lasted for 2 weeks. That was disappointing. Beyond that it did not help to change Grumpy Dog's mood at all. Also, very disappointing. I will say this though, she has always been afraid of thunder, fireworks and when our neighbors go out in their yard for target practice. She sits on your feet and quivers the whole time. I did have this plugged in and turned on during a storm and while she was still nervous she wasn't sitting right on my feet quivering. All in all, its not worth the money for me to buy this on a regular basis since it does not last as long as it says it will and it did not stop Grumpy Dog's aggression. I will keep one on hand for storms though so it is an advantage for me that is has the on / off switch.

I expected this to do nothing as I have bought things for my cat before that were just a waste We recently acquired two very young very reactive yapping blonde chihuahuas who attack our other pets out of fear bark at my sister constantly. Well within an hour or so of plugging in there was a pleasant smell in the house which really calmed me down as well! The dogs would make little random barks that were pretty mellow sounding more like a model A starting up than a yipping high pitched bark they were doing. Yeah it calmed everyone in our house down. And for me its great because rather than trying to get good behavior their lack of nervousness and fear is helping us to be able to correct the behavior in nice way because they are not yapper anymore they can actually pay attention to direction and being calmed down and taught. I'm super happy with tis and we just ordered 2 more refills as I see this as a good solution for us at a good price.

Doesn't stop my dog from being stressed a waste of money

Didn’t see any difference in our dogs anixety at all,waste of money says it’s supposed to last so many months and it’s nearly gone with two weeks. Don’t buy it.
