This is a fantastic alternative to white concrete! I personally use it as a whitening agent to achieve that beautiful white color in my concrete decor. I use titanium dioxide in my cold process soap making. And I was pleasantly surprised by the large size of this bag. You can’t beat the price and quality. It produces beautiful white colors and does not clump up when mixed with a tiny amount of oil. Will definitely order more when this bag eventually runs out.

We laser engravers use this chemical with paint in order to burn into a tumbler, stainless steel and other materials. This allows us to draw. This chemical is a great product, at a great price, and will last a very long time. Saves money by using instead of the ready made laser marking sprays which cost $50 and more for just a few ounces.

I needed some more Titanium Dioxide for my soap making, since I am only a hobbyist, a one pound bag is the perfect size and an economical choice for me. This will last me quite a while and sure beats the premium I was paying for 4oz bags from a soap supplier. I keep it stored in a large mason jar to preserve its freshness. This disperses easily in a small amount of oil, I use a milk frother to be sure I have incorporated it well enough. I have been really happy with the out come, I am getting the right color without causing glycerin rivers and no specks. So needless to say I am a happy soaper. I would not hesitate to re-order this as the need arose.

Only giving this 4 stars because it claims to easily disperse in both oil and water but that's not quite accurate. I tested the powder in both oil and water, mixing and shaking. It did mix very easily into water and appeared to be very smooth and we'll mixed, however, the moment I stopped stirring or shaking the powder started to settle to the bottom and within 10 seconds I was left with just cloudy water with a residue of powder on the side and bottom of the jar and cup. In the oil it took a bit more stirring and shaking and appeared to be a bit clumpier in the beginning but it did come together nicely and stayed smooth and we'll dispersed in the oil for quite some time. It did have a little settling after a while but that's to be expected and it will definitely stay blended in the time that I'll be working with it without having to continuously mix or shake it. Both cups had about the same amount of unmixed powder clumps remaining in the bottom after mixing so I'd definitely recommend shaking in a bottle or jar if not using a mini mixer or latte frother to mix it well.

The material is good for what we need, DIY solar cell project. It is very airy and requires a face mask when working with it.

I use this for soap making. Make even the yellowest of oils white!
