Spurtar 5Pcs Locking Wheel Nut Removal Tool, 1/2” Drive Twist Socket Set

My locking wheel nut key decided to shred itself so I bought this kit to remove the locking nuts. They were spinning locking wheel nuts so I had to chisel off the spinning ring first (10 mins to do all 4) Hammer on the socket from the kit and remove the nuts. Use the small metal bar and hammer to tap and remove the nut. Done all 4 locking wheel nuts but .......everytime you use it , it wears the edge down inside the socket. I highly doubt the 21mm i used from the kit will remove any more nuts. For the price , really can't complain. Remove all 4 locking wheel nuts and replaced with standard nuts, job done. Local garage wanted £35 per nut to remove .........saved a few quid 👍

Had my wheels powder coated at a local company and after they have finished they put the wheels on and tightened the wheel bolts with the impact wrench and as a result they have stripped one of the bolts. I have tried everything and couldn't get it out. Bought this product as an off chance not knowing what to expect. It worked like a dream. It took 2 min to remove the bolt and as per photos there is not a scratch on the tool itself. I'm over the moon with the quality and ease of use. Highly recomended product.

Works well to a point, but the metal is softer than I'd expect and after extensive use the nuts occasionally jam in the socket, damaging the socket and requiring a lot of effort to remove. A handy tool to remove stubborn / damaged nuts and bolts, but consider it a consumable.

Nice set

Bought this bolt removal kit to remove locking wheel nuts from my car as I'd lost the security socket (first time ever, but there's a first time for everything). The design of these bolt removal sockets looks OK at a glance - reverse-spiral internals should bite in to the bolts to that they can be removed. IN reality they are useless. The sockets appear to be made of a softer metal than the wheel bolts which means that the sharp edges of the reverse spirals just get rounded-off by the bolts. They didn't grip at all - they just spin, even using a heavy duty impact wrench. They've also damaged my powder coated alloy wheel (I only tried them once, and immediately realised they they don't work), meaning a £100 bill for the wheel to be stripped ad powder coated again. Avoid these - they are hopeless and will be returned for a refund.

Decent quality for the price. I used this to remove a rounded off locking wheel nut. I first chiseled off the rotating collar from the locking nut, then hammered on the 19mm removal socket. Use with breaker bar not an impact! Worked first time, was pleasantly surprised.

I never write reviews but this tool saved me some time and money. 2 very stuck rounded off bolt came off nicely and extractor still nicely in shape. Pictures say it all.

Unique design. Works as it should. Tap it on ....attach a breaker bar and shazam....!! Great price.
