Tried many generic brands, but these are the only ones that work w/o having to stop and take off the cap to adjust the line. Wish the price was lower or add more spools for this price.

Easy to use and replace spent spools in my B&D weed eater. This string handle basic weed trimming of various non-woody type growth. It handles average weeds and grass well. I recently moved to a more rural area and this weed eater and this string does not handle thicker or woodier weeds and plants. So for an average city homeowner the trimmer and this line would work well and easy.

This is a good value and they fit my black and decker trimmer. Very easy to install.

These worked great. It seemed to actually last a little longer than the ones that came with the weed whacker itself!

I wasn’t sure until I got them, they are factory sealed Black & Decker spools, well worth the cost. The others didn’t last as long, different trim line, and may not work with auto feed. Because they are compatible, they use the Black & Decker name, a little confusing, deceptive.

Does what it's supposed to do

I have been buying replacement AF-100 for my cordless 40V Black and Decker trimmer from Canadian Tire. They became so short, that I would need 2 to trim around my property one time. After buying 280' line and winding it by hand, this line was a welcome relief- easy install. Line is very thick, looks thicker than 0.065, but I am not complaining.. So far, finished trimming today and still have plenty of line left. A bit pricey, especially compared to buying in bulk and winding by hand. But quality is true brand quality. Very satisfied.
