These lowball glasses are excellent. They are carefully crafted, have a pleasing weighty feel in the hand and are cleverly shipped so that breakage is extremely unlikely. The missing fifth star is simply because water pools in the concave depression in the base after they are run through the dishwasher.

I was a bit hesitant based on some of the reviews regarding durability, breakage, etc. I find these glasses to be well made, liking the substantial thickness of the glasses bottoms, and that the company asks that purchasers report any defects they notice. I use these daily, and haven’t found them to be as fragile as some have reported. Very satisfied with the quality.

very nice heavy glass

This is not what you expect when you order crystal. This is like glassware. Bought these as gifts for 2 people this Christmas, was so disappointed. I did not gift it to one of them, and I told the other that I wanted to buy something of much better quality, so they gave it back to me and I am returning it. So hard to buy quality crystal on line unless it is a pattern and brand you have bought before and know what you are getting. This is where in person shopping is so important.
