We have had these lights for years and we love them! We love them especially for movie night and special occasions! My husband works evenings so often times gets home late and I even use these as a night light since we’re all in bed when he comes home! You can change the color in the app and they’re also hooked up to our Amazon Alexa. 10/10

Expensive Rabbit hole this hue world is! But honestly you do get what you pay for... Well mostly... Mostly. I hated the pin change and it’s very hard to know which strands you’re buying. Ugh in the words of Charlie Brown. These are awesome why does it cost so much?! Oh yeah they were made with the blood of Hercules. My bad. I wished they were easier to splice and reconnect but oh well... You can do it but I wished my future self would have warned me of the pitfalls and hair loss that would follow. Is it possible to love and hate a light strand?

My tv was to big for the original hue strip, until I added this which was perfect was able to cover my whole TV. easy to install and shines bright.

We have probably a couple of dozen hue bulbs and light strips with our smart home stuff, and they always work flawlessly. And for the price, you expect them to. The strips are among the few RGB strips with tunable warm white that actually looks nice. This is the reason that I went with Hue over the many other options on the market for our under cabinet lighting. Due to needing to jump our range and make a corner, we had to use a few different connectors to execute. The third party splitter extension connector that I had custom made from ebay was great, the plug in extensions are great, and the cut end connectors connect to the strips without trouble, but when using the cut end to extension connector (which comes from Philips in the box with all strips and extensions), getting it to plug into the cut end connector with a clean connection is dang near impossible. I thought it was just the one connector I was using, so I messed with various different layouts and it's absolutely the connection between the extension connector and the cut end connector, it's like the pins don't fit tightly so they don't make good contact. It's infuriating to have most of my lights the correct color and then see the strip that turns the corner just be green. I'm ordering some litcessory cut end to extension connectors that appear to circumvent this issue.

The price was better than others I found. The package arrived on time.

For something that costs so much, I expected more. While the lights themselves is great, and they connect to the internet flawlessly, the product itself is just not great. Especially in comparison to the ease of use of its competitors like GOVEE. -Philips is stingy with the length they give you, for $80+ 6ft is not enough. -They are not very flexible and any little bend makes the strip ripple and not stick. -The instructions are hard to understand. -The adhesion is the worst, when peeling the plastic backing off the entire adhesion comes off with it. This also makes it hard to hide the cord portion and the stupid little box you plug into. -Cutting and reconnecting is also a pain. -It also comes outs of the plugs too easily, when you reconnect or even just connect it to the base it just does not feel secure. So overall I hate them.

Used the extension lightstrips to do under cabinet lighting. Used 2 litcessorry extension wires to connect to above cabinet lighting so it is all run thru one power source. The lightstrips stuck perfectly to my cabinets and were perfect size. The light is fantastic to add brightness and character to our kitchen! It was easily added to my hue app and Alexa and really makes our kitchen look fantastic!

These are quality light strips. Philips hue are expensive but still better than most stuff on the market.

La calidad del diodo da una luz muy “pareja” no crea manchas de luz. Consejo: Si agregan una canaleta con acrílicos dará un efecto mas difuso y agradable a la luz.

Comme toujours Philips et ses produit connecté sont à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le prix semble un peu exagéré pour un néophyte de la domotique mais lorsque la moitié de ta maison répond à tes commandes vocales, va devient intéressant de rajouter ce petit plus à ta déco. Seul problème tu, l'adhérence à la télé a été et est encore laborieuse.
