Can i make softer crust on this stone?

Yeah you can make a softer dough on this stone. You can do softer or crisper, depending on how long you bake it. We've done both.

Can i use it for pie too?

Hi customer, thanks for your question. Yes the pizza stone can be used for making pastry pies also.

Will this work with a komodo grill such as the big green egg?

We used it on both. (We've got Kamado Joe and Big Green Egg. It worked fine. We did end up purchasing a larger stone but use this one still frequently.
