What's the skill level?

I found it relatively simple to do since there was no gluing and was assembled using screws and press fit.  Be careful not to force the press fit parts or to overtighten the screws.  You can strip the plastic.  
It was complex in terms of the number of parts and the need to get them put together following the instructions closely.  This is especially important for the cam, valves and cam and distributor timing.   For the most part the instruction book was well done.

Bottom line, if you are a modeler with more than passing experience you should have not trouble.  But this is not a simple kit for the unexperienced.

I loved doing it and the result was fantastic.  I painted the grey plastic (not the transparent parts) such as the oil pan and and air cleaner Ford engine blue.  I also painted the exhaust manifolds  cast iron. I showed it to a fellow car guy who worked at the Ford engine plant making this exact engine.  He was blown away by the detail and accuracy.
