This is an inexpensive yet effective isolation shield and I have already had several successful recording sessions with it. My only complaint is that the screw to attach this to your microphone stand is made of really cheap metal (like that "White metal" tin or zinc based stuff probably) and the cheap metal is so soft and weak that every time I screw it into and out of my mic stand, the threading degenerates leaving powdered metal behind and digging into the threads. I do not want to leave it on my mic stand for various reasons and so I have to take it off after use. I have only put in on and off about 6 times so far and am now worried that it will not hold anymore. It is too bad that the most important structural part of this whole thing is made of such cheap low quality material. They could have used a higher quality material for this once piece and it probably would have only cost a few cents more. A classic example of corner cutting and it is such a shame. The rest of it is great. Hopefully I can try to find a replacement piece somewhere so that I can keep using this.

Perfect addition to my home recording studio. Helps keep unwanted sounds out. I use it everyday. Very worth it and good quality.

For this low price & value for money, you don't need to spend all kinds of money soundproofing your home studio for professional recording Products! *The foam on the inside of this product has a dense quality thickness, unlike all of the cheap foam wall panels that you would waste your money on, potentially messing up the thin foam wall panels if you were ever needing to move them around. Plus, unless you spend the big bucks, don't waste time searching for Wall panels for vocal recording of any kind. *I love that all parts of the back wall of this product can be specifically adjusted to your wanting & even easily tightened at each top notch by using the included small allen wrench! *To top it off, what makes this product even more versatile, is that you can either mount it on a mic stand, adjusted to your height or just set it on a table if you want great voice sound quality for Podcasting, Speaking, or singing. The bottom of this product has pieces that make it even & it doesn't move easy on a table, so you won't have to worry about avoiding am accidental touch with your hands or face while recording your voice. I HIGHLY recommend this product for those who seek HIGH QUALITY recordings of your voice, with no outside noise being present.

Comes pre-assembled with an optional attachment for those needing a thicker connection to their mic. A very professional product with solid construction that does what it says. I purchased it because I wanted one that works with the largest-size Blue Yeti microphone on a shock mount. This one is perfect. I use it close to a room corner and it prevents any reverb from the corner from reaching the microphone. It definitely helps capture a clean recording which is what you need for your recording to blend into a mix rather than sit on top of the mix due to a less-than-clean recording. In other words, any echo, reverb, noise, etc. caught in a recording makes it stand out in a bad way from the rest of a mix. You want to add reverb, distortion, or any other effects after its recorded - not capture them during recording. This isolation shield helps, is well thought out, and professionally executed.

This product seems well made. The issue I have is that my Shure MV7+ mic doesn't fit it properly. The back of the mic sits flush against the foam screen, leaving no room to input the cords. I spent forever trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong, but I think it just requires an upright microphone rather than one that sits at an angle. I suppose I could use it without mounting the mic, but you don't get the same level of noise isolation.

Well made, sturdy and does the job very well. However I use a microphone stand for my expensive mike separately. The holder on the Moukey is too short and to put a mic on it, your face is 6 inches from the foam, too close. Otherwise , very good.

I received my isolation shield by the next day and tested it. I am impressed with the level of quality I have been able to produce as a result. It feels as if I am in a proper in house studio. Great value for money!

Das Mikrofon Isolation Shield funktioniert echt gut. Nutze es selber für die Aufnahme meines Podcasts. Mit einem guten Mic und dem Shield hat man guten Ausstattung. Es ist zwat recht groß, lässt sich aber zusammenklappen und dadurch auch gut verstauen. Bisher ist mir nichts negatives an dem Produkt aufgefallen, da es auch sehr gut verarbeitet ist.

Grabo videos y tenía un severo problema porque mi suegra está sorda y en vez de arreglarse el oído pues pone la televisión a todo trapo, no es que quite todo el ruido pero sí mucho de él, para mí cumple perfectamente con su cometido.
