Are the no-access caps really necessary? The cable itself covers up the screw heads in the VESA mount holes. I did not use the no-access covers.

They're necessary if you can access the screw head with a screwdriver. I ran the lock through one of the cable ends, so a cap wouldn't fit if i wanted it to.

I'm using all four VESA holes to attach the wall mount. Can the same screws and holes also be used with the security hardware?

Yes, see the image #3. Before you tight the screws you install the "cubes" in place to later run the security cable.

It’s designed to fasten to your TV in holes where you would connect a bracket, so I don’t think it would work if you were using a mounting bracket. But if your TV is fastened to a wall with a mounting bracket, why would you need an anti-theft cable?
