Are these good for a nutritional every day food and what is the difference between these and the lafeber premium pellets?

Since nutri-berries contain pellets, they can be a complete diet, though it would be recommended to have them as part of a diet along with a "regular" pelleted food. Consult your avian vet.

Can you feed these to parakeets?

Don't know that a parakeet could hold the balls in its foot the way my parrot does, but you can mash the balls into smaller form for the smaller beaks of a parakeet. The seeds are already hulled, so there's less mess. We've done this for a finicky cockatiel.

Why does this have peanuts? What do you do about the aflatoxins? Do you test your product for them?

I understand the risks with peanuts in bird seed as well as dog and cat food. This is a problem of high concern for pet owners . My birds enjoy them so I stay with a reputable company and use only as treats. I throw away older food and keep stored in cool dry place. My birds main food does not contain peanuts . I dont know why peanuts are included but other nuts can have the aflatoxins also. It's a hard choice to make but I crushed them for my lovebirds and they lived to be 20 and 22. They had a variety of both seed and fresh foods. Our conure is 16 and has consumed the berries since we adopted her. But I do not test I just feed a variety of fresh , mainly pellets, some seeds and the occasional cheerio!

Good parrot snack but be warned

My parrot has these as his snack everyday but he still enjoys his fruits and seeds. It's a good treat for ur bird but make sure u check the packet thoroughly I found a dead rat in it .very disappointed.
