I purchased this bag w/ phone case. phone case appears to be defective, three prong piece fell off as soon as i opened it. should i return it?

How do you wash this after it’s been exposed to (ocean) water?

I wash the outside with fresh water. I've never had water in the interior; however, I would sponge it out with fresh water if needed.
