I bought this because I was tired of dealing with endless cases of plastic water bottles. This is one of those purchases that just makes life easier. First, the size is perfect. Three gallons is enough to actually be useful without being impossible to lift or carry. The built-in handle makes a big difference — it feels balanced and manageable even when full. The Tritan material feels solid and clean, not flimsy or cheap. There’s no weird plastic smell or taste, which was important to me. Works great! The handle is nice for carrying, I like that it's BPA free, and the bottle quality seems sturdy. I didn't want a 5 gallon so the 3 gallon works nicely. Only caveat was it seems a little expensive for some plastic. Regardless, hope it lasts for a long time!

It was getting a little harder for me to lift and lug five-gallon bottles. These are a much better size and weigh less when full. Now had I been thinking, I might just have filled my five-gallon bottles up to 60% and stopped, thereby removing the need to buy these bottles (hint hint) as they are higher priced than I would have anticipated, but I have never been accused of being too bright. Nonetheless, good quality, with no unusual taste to the water.

These are expensive but in my opinion worth the money. I get Alkaline Water and the 3 gallon size is easier for me to carry. I bought 4 of these so I don't have to go so often. BPA free, high quality and they look great too!

So I have been using this product for a long time. It has had problems that it may crack if dropped when full. Also, it has always had a screw top. My most recent purchase however had a larger opening and a silicone top that snaps on but in order to open it at first you have to peel off the lower silicone portion. These are not as leakproof as the screw tops. The old screw tops cannot be used with these as there is no threading and the opening is too large as well. I am not sure why the downgrade in quality. And without any warning or explanation in the product description. I would hope that the company reads these reviews and responds with an appropriate response. I also want to say that I tried calling the customer service number to complain. I only got a recording asking to leave a message. Needless to say, no one ever called back. One other thing. The company used to have another 3-gallon model that was rectangular and could be kept in the refrigerator to keep cold. It had a lever on the front that allowed the water to be let out and a large screw cap on top to pour into. I do not see that anymore. I wish the company would bring that back. I would have given this a 4 if the company had their act together.
