I really shouldve bought this sunlu s1 filament dryer sooner. I've been using it for some ninjatek TPU that has been left out for about a year. It has almost completely eliminated my clogging issues. I feel like I will save alot of money over time with this unit as I always threw away filament that was clogging rather than dry it in my kitchen oven. It also nice that you can print straight from the dryer. The reviews that say it doesn't have a fan or get hot enough worried me but I found they weren't accurate to what I received.

Works as intended. Easy to set the dry time and temp. I only have a limited amount of filaments, so i dont need to dry multiple spools at a time, so this was perfect. The plastic feels a little cheap, but it works so cant complain much.

This dryer was very reasonably priced and seems to be well constructed however it has two issues. Firstly there is no air exchange with the outside when running so no way for the humid air to escape from the dryer. Additionally the temperature maxes out at 55 degrees so it's very slow. It works but not particularly well.

Typically, I try and take care good care my filaments, but there are days I forget to remove it from the printer after printing. Now I finally have something that can help revive it. Even though I store all my filaments with desiccant, that does not fix any problems that already occurred. I bought one of these filament dryer to test and see if it there any improvement on my prints. As a test, I took an old roll of PLA filament that I had since 2015 and baked it overnight. I actually looked at instruction manual to figure out the temperature and duration needed. It was pretty easy to set everything up. To my surprise this thing actually made a difference. It is kind a difficult to convince someone that filament absorb the moisture in the air, until it happens to them. This is a way to narrow down one of the causes for a bad print. Instead of guessing why everything was printing fine the last time you use it, now you know the filament is not the one to blame. The reason why I would like to have more than one of these is so I can multitask. I have 3 printers and I usually have at most, 2 running at the same time. So, I would use 2 of the driers to maintain the integrity of my filament and the third one to prepare for the next color or get it ready to be packed away. So far, I am loving this filament drier and it does everything I expected it to do. My only complaint is the rollers where the filament sits on. I’m glad that the rollers are ball bearing, but I wish it was a tad bigger, so it rolls a little smoother. Also, I wish it had a fitting connector on the dryer so I could route a PTFE tube to the printer. Other than that, this dryer looks and feels very sturdy.

Ottimo essiccatore per filamenti! Acquistato in promozione qualche mese fa (prime days), utilizzato tantissimo e finora molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto! Consente di impostare temperatura e tempo di funzionamento, manca l’indicazione dell’umidità, ma non ne ho sentito la mancanza. Testato con bobine BambuLab e Sunlu e funziona egregiamente, senza inceppamenti. Silenzioso (si sente solo il ronzio - leggero - della ventola), di sicuro la stampante fa più rumore. Credo sia un buon acquisto se la stampante è posizionata in stanze o locali non proprio asciutti. Io la uso in un locale tecnico e ho dovuto mettere anche un deumidificatore. Prima di stampare accendo entrambi per una mezz’ora e la qualità delle stampe sembra sensibilmente migliorata!

Me ha funcionado bien y con buenos resultados. La calidad del producto no es la mejor, pero tampoco es una chafada, cumple bien, funciona bien y no desepciona. No es nada mala compra.

Love this item. Helps keep my filament that wee bit more durable as it fully dries it out even if there is only a small amount of moisture. Heats up quick. Helps printing quality and finish to be more successful. Fab price too
