Guests enjoy having this at tea parties.
I have tea parties and always bought clotted cream for my scones. Last time the jar came the "best buy" date was was good , however, when I opened it the morning of my tea party it was not good. Very disappointed. I will probably just use strawberry jam and butter this time.

Not Consistent With Previous Orders
I have ordered this item several times and been very satisfied until my last two orders. One order of two arrived with vacuum button up and the contents smelling bad and soured. I just threw it away. The next time I only ordered one. The contents were in good condition with vacuum seal intact but the texture was not the creamy smoothe I expected. It was very grainy.

It turned into Butter
This arrived sealed and wasn't spoiled which it was a concern. This was the first time having clotted cream, and I called some friends in the UK about it. From their description, I should have received a thick heavy cream that you can use a spoon to just "take a mouthful". What I received was something very close to butter that had some liquid on top. trying a taste, I was surprised that it reminded me of unsalted butter. I refrigerated the cream like it said after opening and shortly after it hardened like butter. I assume that with the high fat content what received was clotted cream that had been churned into butter during shipping. It doesn't really have a taste and it melts like butter. So its great on toast with jam but so is butter. So this isn't clotted cream when it arrived at my house but butter.

Terrible quality
Arrived intact however the cream was tangy and sour. I was excited to get a larger jar than what I can find locally, but the fact it’s gone rancid the moment I had opened it made this purchase a complete waste.

Way Too Pricey for the Amount
Very rich and tastey, but the jar is not much bigger than a thimble!
