if i could give this product a 10 star review i would. i have interstitial cystitis. since i've been taking this product for about 3 weeks my discomfort is almost gone. i take one when i know i'm going to eat something "not advised" like onions, garlic, green chile, lettuce and even lite vinegar on a salad. the directions say take 2, but it's effective for me with only one either before a meal or even after. I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND A PRODUCT THAT IS WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!!!!! highly recommend it. have not experienced ANY SIDE EFFECTS. also don't have to take amitriptyline anymore

I found this product online. It cuts down the acidity of food and drink products that are high in acid. I take 2 pills then partake in whatever I am going to eat and drink. So far this has done the trick for me. I will continue to use this product.

If you have a problem with acid or spicy foods you only have to take one or two apples before you eat anything that is spicy or has a tomato flavoring and this will do the trick instead of taking the antacids afterward you take a previous tablet before and you don’t have to go through the indigestion, the burning or the pain of eating something that was good. Just take a pre-leaf prior to eating it takes away any problems you would have with the food, I’ve been using it for years. It is very price not to be in pain and you get to eat the food you love.

Oh my goodness these are a lifesaver if going through IC or any other acid sensitivities that can cause problems. I take 2 with every cup of coffee or any acidic foods and it is a huge help for me!

These caplets are effective; they have worked well for me in preventing bladder spasms from triggering food and beverages. Honestly, they have been a real game changer after almost three years of completely avoiding so many of my favorite foods. I have found that the magic number that works best for me is three caplets taken right after my first bite of whatever the offending food item is, two for a single beverage. The reason I removed a star from my rating is that it can get quite expensive to continually take three pills each time - I am going through a bottle very quickly. Overall, I am thrilled that I can now eat and drink pretty much anything I want, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

I had zero expectations for this, as I am on the STRONGEST prescription for heartburn. I am only 29 and I suddenly got heartburn 8 months back (that my doctor isn't taking serious and I believe something is seriously wrong with ne). I have had to find medications all on my own, having to ASK to be placed on them, she thinks I am too young to be experiencing the pain I am explaining. Its been 8 months and nothing has worked.The first time I got heartburn I truly believed I was having a heart attack and went to the hospital! I had never experienced anything like it. It felt like I had 100 lbs of bricks laying on my chest. The medication I am on hardly touches it. I have spent probably near 500$ in 8 months on drinks, supplements, every single OTC heartburn products, DIY remedies, everything you can think of. I came across this product looking into Acid free coffee, this popped up. It was expensive for sure but only a fraction of Nexium. I had no expectations for it and just bought it SOLEY from reading reviews.I drink coffee in the morning, it gives me severe heartburn for an hour but I refuse to give it up. Its the one part of my day where I relax over a cup of coffee and take in the aroma while thinking about the day. Heartburn was running my life.I tried the product and couldn't believe it. Oddly enough you take it with the food or drink, I was like, no way will this work with my bold coffee as I typically get the heartburn 1 minute after the first sip. I waited for the heartburn this morning, it NEVER came. I was able to have almost two cups of coffee, I cant even believe I am saying that. I probablycould have finished the second cup, but didn't want to push it.For 8 months my favorite part of the day turned into the worst part of the day, but today I drank almost two cups with NO heartburn. Not even a little. With both cups I took two pills, I did spread the cups out about an hour or two between one anotherIf you have experienced anything like what I have explained, all I can say, is this is a life changing OTC prescription. I can't believe I have no heartburn at all rn, and I was not at all paid for this review. I know there are more and more fake reviews but prereleif is a miracle.

Prelief is awesome! I have interstitial cystitis which is a lot like having a UTI except that they don't find any bacteria. So sometimes I get burning in the nether parts. This burning can often be caused by something you eat such as spicy foods or acidic foods and there's a long list of foods and beverages that people with IC are told to avoid as they might trigger burning. Well I love my morning coffee and I've come up with a way to enjoy my coffee with no irritation. First, I drink instant coffee. I make it with a 50/50 mix of alkaline water and whole milk, and a half a teaspoon of coffee, and sweeten it with honey. I also take a Prelief with it. This works perfectly for me and I can now enjoy my morning coffee again. I also take Prelief with other foods such as anything with tomato or tomato sauce which is acidic. So I do treat myself to some of the forbidden foods. I take one Prelief with my coffee. I'll take one or two with other things depending on what they are, but generally I'll try one first and see how it goes.

Great use.

It helps reduce heartburn sensation after drinking wine or espresso. Will purchase again.
