ZWILLING Fresh & Save Handheld Food Saver Vacuum Sealer Machine for Easy Storage

This is the coolest little machine I've added to my kitchen in a long time. I went with this one, partly because of the reputation of their knives. I have a food sealer for sous vide, and it's big, bulky and sometimes doesn't seal. Not so with this. It's easy to use and very handy. So I've started using this to sous vide, as well. I bought a bunch of bags at the same time I bought the sealer. They are proprietary to the sealer, and I understand that other bags won't work with this brand and vice versa. I found this to be a good quality machine. And good quality bags. Using it is very intuitive and in no time at all. Charging it was fairly quick. Using it is as simple as placing the unit on the red seal and pushing the button. In a few seconds, all the air is sucked out of the food and the bag is securely sealed. Breaking the seal and getting the food out is easy, too. I also bought the sealer for wine bottles, and that works great as well. So far, the principle works and my leftovers are lasting a lot longer in the fridge. I'm very happy with this little guy and would highly recommend it.

I have a lot of good things to say about this handheld sealer. It's portable and I don't have to take out a large sealer machine each time. I ordered a bunch of vacuum seal bags from Syntus Vacuum Sealer Bags and it worked great. The suction is still working on the bag. I also got a hard zippered case for this to protect from scratches. I'm really surprised how much suction this could produce. I recently ordered a mason jar sealing attachment and when I attached this sealer on my mason jar with the jar attachment, it only took 5 seconds.

The he very best storage units I have ever used!

This sealer works just fine on their containers, and I'm pleased, overall. However, I have sent them a question regarding the promise they make to send a free wine bottle sealer once the product is registered, and they don't come through. They promise the sealer on their printed documentation, but when registering I saw something about getting some knives which I don't need. I wrote to ask them about the wine bottle sealer twice now and I get the automated responses that they've received my email and will get to me, and so far, over the last few weeks, nothing. So don't expect any customer service if you need it.

I originally purchased the competition (original home system for food saving), but was not compatible with the bags, so I returned it and purchased this. Glad I did.I use it every day multiple times throughout the day. Even with the multiple uses throughout the day, every day, all week long, the unit stays charged for over a week.My husband loves it too, he reseals everything because he sees the benefit. Grapes are fresh all week, bread is frozen without getting frost bitten, chocolate chip cookie dough stays fresh for weeks, pancakes freeze well and stay fresh using the freezer bags. If you cannot tell, we love it!The whole system cost a lot initially, but keep in mind, you are saving on food if you have leftovers or buy in bulk. I use the canning jars for sauce and fruit and the adaptor on Amazon.

I bought three containers in hopes of the fruit we buy staying fresh longer. I have used these since 2024 and am so pleased to say my grapes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries have lasted a good week or longer when sealed in the container. Definite money saver. When I take some fruit out of the container I just use the vacuum sealer to seal the container again. Viola. Fruit stays fresh longer.

Unit did NOT charge.Zwilling vacuum sealer is good when it functions but 2x previous units failed to charge after medium usage during 6-months after purchase. Recent replacement Unit did not charge directly out of the box.DISAPPOINTED in Zwilling Quality Control and systemic product defect - 3x units fail and 1x unit DOA.

My husband had this on his wish list, and he LOVES it. Uses it all the time with the bags from the same seller. Great example of use is when we buy bangers or longaniza from specialty stores - he thaws them a little to separate them, then puts them into a baggie with space between, uses the suction to remove the air, and then freezes. When we want just two bangers or a longaniza (great for flavor in a pot of rice), it's easy to get them out, do the suction again, and pop the package back in the freezer. No wasting, everything stays good and frozen.

Love it. Doing good job and save my veggies from landfirld. Only 4 stars as one of bags is not keeping suction. But very good addition in my kitchen.
