Would these stay in place on an ankle ( outside edge) please? I've been fitted with an orthotic splint which is rubbing me raw. Many thanks.

I’d say they would. They aren’t like normal thin plasters that roll up on the back of your ankles if you have shoes that rub. They are well cushioned.

Can I shower with these on?

Yes you can. Leave them on until the blister pad comes off on its own. They are brilliant, and have used them plenty of times over the years and would completely recommend them. An essential part to carry if you go hiking or walking.

What is the active pain relieving ingredient in this blister plaster?

It does not relieve any pain. It's mostly just to protect your feet when you wear certain shoes so it does not hurt.

Will these work for preventing a blister all day (my wedding) ?

Hi, I had a blister on the sole of my foot whilst on a a waling tour of Scotland, once on they stay on for two or three days and stop the pain of the blister. you can get different shaped plasters for different parts of your foot too. Hope this helps.
