Gonna say first off that I'm no IT expert, had to have my husband help with a lot of stuff related to this. I can't really say it's "plug and play" because it worked ok at first, but do not - DO NOT - take it out and move to another device, it will confused the ever-loving crap outta your computer. I assumed it was plug-and-play, because so many things are, but as the title suggests - this is an adapter, not a paired dongle. Paired dongles are plug-and-play, adapters are not. So that was a whole nightmare, messing with drivers and deleting registered devices (because somehow this wound up with duplicates that were confusing each other in my system???). And I still occasionally just randomly get connection issues. I got this specifically to use with a bluetooth game controller, but sometimes it just loses connection and sometimes when I turn it on it just won't connect. Problem is I'm not techie enough to know if it's the adapter, the drivers, my PC, or my controller... but given half those options are for this product, I'm docking a star for just the headache I've had. If you're more tech-savvy, you might not have any issues. Could just be me, but this is my experience.

Date: 12/30/24 I recently purchased a gaming PC and needed a solution to add bluetooth capabilities to it. This was such an easy and cost-effective fix! I’ve had the adapter for several days and it’s worked perfectly to allow me to connect an xbox controller and there have been no issues with the controller’s responsiveness. I haven’t tried connecting multiple devices yet, as I haven’t had a need to. I will update this review if I encounter any future issues. Heaven forbid you get more than 10 ft away from your computer or whatever you have it paired to. Because the audio just goes to complete crap after that. Now if I have My headphones pair to my smartwatch It works just fine, in fact I can leave my smartwatch in the house on the charger and take the trash out which is good 150 ft away and have no loss of audio. But with this thing plugged into my computer I can barely make it 10 ft away before it's starts distorting, Heck sometimes you when I'm sitting right in front of my computer watching a video it just starts randomly distorting like a wired headset shorting out. But these are wireless Bluetooth. The headphones work great on everything except for this device. Yeah it's easy 😾to do install but the range sucks like it's got no power. I can't even get it to do voice recognition out of my computer. And it randomly stops working to where I have to unplug it from my computer and then plug it back in. Don't waste your money, buy a different one. I bought a new one. It's a TP Link brand, It works so much better than this pile of trash. This one is a complete waste of money.

For some reason, my wireless key board and ireless mouse worked fine, but I could not pair my wireless headphone with my Windows 10 Pro. I ordered this, plugged it in, went to pair it..... but it did not work. I updated my Bluetooth drivers and I was able to pair my headphones without having to restart the computer. An added value is the low price.

This adapter is very interesting… This thing works quite well when it DOES work. I use my PC a lot throughout the day and this bluetooth adapter works well until randomly my audio just starts glitching worse and worse, until I unplug the adapter and reset the bluetooth. It randomly works and randomly starts glitching and tweaks out. It’s incredibly easy to use, as you just plug it in and don’t need any drivers. Just watch out for that.
