Draper Venom Handsaw (350mm) | Second Fix Double Ground Hand Tool | High Carbon Steel Blade | TPR Soft Grip Handle | 80874

perfect size and quality for a small job I need to do and great price. No idea how long it will stay sharp but I only need it for one job.

I needed a saw to cut wood, and thankfully this saw cuts wood easily! I was a little caught out by the size when it arrived. It's more like three-quarters of the length of the big saw my Dad has always used, so it took a little getting used to. Once I got over that, though, it did exactly what I needed it to do. It's a saw, it cuts, the quality feels good and the price was great. Not much more you can really ask for!

Very good saw. Cuts beautifully. Very comfortable in the hand. Very easy to use. Quite versatile.

Bought this for general DIY and second-fix work around the house. The soft-grip handle is comfortable and the teeth cut cleanly through softwood and the odd bit of plasterboard without too much effort. It feels well balanced for the price and the built-in 45°/90° guides on the handle are a useful touch. It’s not the sharpest out of the box and the blade is a bit flexible if you’re putting a lot of pressure on thicker timber, but for everyday use it’s fine. Good value for a casual user, just don’t expect pro-level performance.

Just what I needed.

Sharpness esse of use sturdiness grip

Does the job ,good value

The saw is comfortable to hold, but it was not very sharp. Some edges also looked a little rusty when it arrived. It still works, but the quality could be better.
