Olympia Tools Scissors Set, 88-234, 4 Piece

Just like the headline says.

CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. Laser beam is not sharp, it spreads out to a 3mm with about a foot from the source. One of two blades is serrated, so you can NOT cut paper by just pushing it forward- why serrated? Scissors will not cut at its tip- no precision in manufacture! The pinking shears blades are made of a bent- over sheet metal (!!!!) soft plastic handles will not last under any pressure - only the cheapest Chinese junk is made this way. DON'T BUY THIS. LET THE CHINESE CHOKE ON IT.

It's a decent value for the set, but no individual part is particularly well made. I purchased this mainly for the laser scissors, and really just for the novelty. That last part is fortunate, as the laser is far off center and thus useless as a guide. The utility shears and smaller scissors, along with the laser scissors, came very sharp and work just fine. I can feel that the plastic they used for the handles is not really suited for the task, and will likely break under any kind of stress (and, likely, just with time and regular use). Overall, given how often I really need to use scissors, these will last me quite some time, so I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase.
