HUGE UPGRADE FROM WIRED CONNECTIONS
Works great for my G20, huge upgrade from the wired enet cable and adapter. This I can have plugged in all the time and open bimmerlink or whatever app whenever I want and it automatically connects. Such a big convenience factor. Basically the price of a enet cable + adapter and works very fast as if it was wired.

Almost there...
This is very capable product. However its important to know you cannot access the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) on BMW F30's. I was specifically trying to turn off the Brake Drying via the DSC but you cannot get there from here with this scanner. Highly recommend you review the supported modules on the vLinker site to make sure it can access what you need.

It's junk
This thing is VERY difficult to use and the instructions are VERY confusing. Connectivity is terrible. It almost left my car unable to run correctly because it kept resetting to the start screen and/or disconnecting. I had to keep unplugging the module and restarting my phone. Finally after about 90 minutes, I got it to revert to the backup so my car could return to normal functions. It claims to work with iPhone but it is clear it is more for Android and they sort of make it work for iPhone, albeit confusingly. My next action is to return it.

Wow that was easy (IOS)
I paid someone to active video in motion a few months ago but then a new software update at BMW dealer reset the iDrive system. Instead of paying again for someone to code my car I bought this blinker thing, wow, amazing! Coded my car in 15minutes with my iPhone and now have video in motion so I can change the tv shows for my kids in the back while I’m driving. Super easy but had to spend another $50 on bimmercode app but way cheaper than having someone else code your car.
