Flexible, breathable tattoo aftercare wrap that stays put without irritation
This is my second time buying this product. I use this as an aftercare bandage on a fresh tattoo and it performs very well. The material is thin, flexible, and breathable, so it moves naturally with the skin instead of pulling or bunching. Adhesion is strong enough to stay in place through normal daily movement, but it removes cleanly without leaving residue or causing irritation. The roll size is very generous for the price and easy to cut to custom lengths. It creates a good protective barrier against friction and contaminants while still allowing the skin to breathe, which is important during the healing phase. I did not experience excessive moisture buildup or itching while wearing it. One thing to note is that, like most adhesive wraps, it sticks best to clean, dry skin. If applied over heavy ointment, the edges may lift sooner. As long as itโs applied correctly, it holds up well. Overall, this is a solid option for tattoo aftercare or other light wound protection. I would purchase it again.

Works exactly as advertised
Iโm pretty sure all the negative reviews for this product are all user error. Iโve healed a number of tats with second skin and this product works exactly like any other. When applying, keep In mind: - Thereโs essentially 3 layers here (2 that peel). The first peel is protecting the side that sticks to your skin. The second is the actual membrane layer that sticks to your skin, and the third (outer) layer is a little thicker, kinda like plastic. - The little strip that you pull from the first layer is just a starter strip. Itโs not nearly as sticky as the rest of the layer because itโs just for positioning. This is where I think folks are getting confused and saying โit doesnโt stickโ. But once you get the positioning right, you then start to peel away the rest, which is the protective layer, slowly compressing to your tat as you peel. - Now the second (protective membrane) layer is securely on your tat. - But, thereโs still a third layer, and itโs kinda rigid. Start in the middle of the blue ribbon and pull back in both directions (this third layer comes away in two pieces) - Now youโre just left with that second (middle) layer thatโs protecting your tat. And trust me - it sticks just fine. In 4 to 5 days, youโll know just how well it sticks because itโs kinda hard to pull off. - donโt take it off dry and donโt peel it off. - take it off in the shower under warm water. Slowly pull it parallel to your body as the adhesive gives way. Again, donโt peel. - youโll see a little plasma and leftover ink stick to the layer. Completely normal and is not damaging your tattoo - you also may see what looks like leftover adhesive. Itโs not, thatโs actually peeling skin. Gently wash the area with soap but do NOT pull any of that skin off. - once youโre out of the shower, your tat will feel dryer than a bone. Start the moisturizing process 3 times a day. - there will still be some light skin peeling for the next 5 days, but after that, your tat will look as good as new.

Cool
I bought this product for my back tattoo. Let your Tattoo Artist apply the wrap on you. Leave it on for up to 24 hours depending on how much plasma is accumulated under the wrap. Plasma is very healthy and normal for your tattoo and is only viable after 24 hours. It heals your tattoo faster and that is why your tattoo is itchy on day 2. We all know if your tattoo itches, it is beginning the healing/peeling process of your tattoo. Common sense. If you have itching ALONG WITH bumps under or around the wrap, you are most likely sensitive to the adhesive. Remove it and do not add another one and follow traditional practices. After the 24 hours, clean your tattoo. Do not add anything under the wrap. Just apply it after youโve air dried your tattoo and leave it on to UP TO 7 days. It will be itchy as hell under your tattoo. To remove your wrap, get inside the shower and pull DOOOWN like youโre removing a command strip. If it feels resistant or dry, run some water under the wrap and pull again. Once you have taken your wrap off, start applying unscented lotion.

Don't listen to bad reviews, This product works exactly as it should!
Lots of people say its not sticky. Im beginning to doubt those people know how to use second skin products.. this is very sticky. And people who are allergic to 2nd skin will be allergic to all second skin. When applying do not do it in the bathroom while you have the hot water running. You should only apply to skin when your skinn is 100% dry like any other second skin. I bought this twice already and have had 0 issues with it. I love it. Makes healing my tattoos so much easier. I 200% recommend it. And there are places on your body like wrists elbow ditch and knee ditch that move around A LOT dont expect it to stay there for ever even brand name second skins wont. If it starts to come off. Take it off clean tattoo dry it with clean paper towel and apply another piece. Wear second skin for a max of 7 days after tattoo was done and boom youre done, take it off and clean, dry and apply moisturizer. If you are having problems with it look up youtube videos or go on reddit and ask for advice. You dont need 20-30$ 3nd skin this one is absolutely perfect.

Essential โSecond Skinโ: Waterproof, Breathable & Healing-Friendly
This tattoo aftercare bandage roll has been a game-changer for my newest ink. The transparent film covers a large area and conforms easily to curvesโperfect for arms, legs, or larger pieces. It adheres seamlessly and stays put through showers, workouts, and sleep without budging. Removing it is painlessโno pulling or residue. It creates a moist, breathable healing environment that reduces scabbing, keeps ink vibrant, and protects from dirt and friction. I follow studio advice and leave it on for 3โ5 days, and each time, my tattoo heals smoother and cleaner than with traditional cream-and-wrap methods. Iโm sold on this being as effective as name-brand โsecond skinโ productsโbut for a much better price. Pros: โ Waterproof yet breathableโprotects well during showers โ Flexible, stretchable film that adapts to any body part โ Helps retain ink vibrancy and reduces scabbing โ Painless removal with no sticky residue โ Cost-effective roll for multiple uses Cons: โ๏ธ You need scissors to cut to shape โ๏ธ Adhesive can catch body hair if not applied to shaved skin ๐ก Bottom Line: This is an excellent transparent film bandage for tattoo healingโeconomical, durable, and artist-grade. It locks in a clean, moist environment, reducing scabbing and supporting color retention. Just prep the skin and shave before applying, and youโll get pro-level aftercare without the premium brand price. Highly recommend for fresh tattoo protection!

Exceptional Quality and Long-Lasting Adhesion!
I recently tried the Flatoedu Tattoo Aftercare Bandage Roll, and Iโm very impressed with its performance! Pros: 1. Long-Stay Adhesion: This bandage roll stays on longer than others Iโve used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it maintained its grip, even during daily activities, which is essential for proper healing. 2. High-Quality Material: The quality of this bandage is excellent. Itโs soft against the skin and doesnโt irritate or cause discomfort, which is a huge plus, especially for fresh tattoos. 3. Generous Size: At 6" x 2 yards, the roll provides plenty of material to cover larger areas or multiple tattoos. I appreciated the flexibility it offered in terms of sizing and coverage. 4. Easy to Apply and Remove: The bandage is simple to cut to size and apply, making my aftercare routine much easier. When it was time to remove it, it came off smoothly without pulling on the skin. 5. Protective and Breathable: It offers great protection without suffocating the skin. My tattoo healed well underneath, and I felt confident that it was safe from external irritants. Cons: I donโt have any significant complaints about this product. It performed exactly as I hoped, and I would definitely purchase it again! Overall, I highly recommend the Flatoedu Tattoo Aftercare Bandage Roll for anyone looking for reliable aftercare solutions. Its superior quality and long-lasting adhesion make it an excellent choice for protecting new tattoos. Iโm very satisfied with my purchase!

Made it easier to re-apply
My artist said the best aftercare was to remove the tegaderm if there is a fluid buildup, clean gently and air out for 6-8 hours, and then re-apply tegaderm for another 48 hours or so. This makes it possible to change that bandage if needed and it's a LOT cheaper and easier to work with than the branded version.

Good choice but a small line of skin irritation at one edge
I love this stuff, and this brand worked well, but it does cause a bit of skin irritation. I use this for tattoos, definitely, but I also use it any time I need to keep an area protected. For example, for this purchase, I have a big bandage applied by my dr after an outpatient procedure that I have to leave on for five days. I put this film over the bandage, and now I can shower normally (itโs completely waterproof) and exercise, because without it, my sweat damags the bandage adhesive, causing it to come off. Yes, the corners do come up a bit, and the skin irritation seemed to only occur where it did this; just at one edge of the film. It was a big area I covered, and the rest of it had no skin irritation.

Good quality, works great
I love the second skin bandages. I put them over my scars after I put on skin care for hyperpigmentation and Iโve really noticed a difference.

This works very well to protect from water or other contaminates
I had an infection from not taking care properly after a tattoo so decided to order this before going on to the next stage of tattooing. This product is the perfect answer to sealing a wound from water or other contaminates

Caused A Rash
I was excited to be able to replace my saniderm a few days after my new tattoo myself. Unfortunately with this product being on my skin for a few hours has caused a rash around the edges of the 2nd skin and started to cause a rash where the 2nd skin was placed.
