G4Free UPF 50+ UV Protection Travel Umbrella 42/46 Inch Auto Open Close

Doc said to stay out of the sun so I found this beauty. I like to sit on my porch and with this umbrella I can. It blocks the sun and the dark interior keeps me a bit cooler. The fabric is thick and seems sturdy. A good buy.

I love my UPF 50+ UV protection umbrella!! For health reasons, I try to avoid too much sun; everything in moderation. Very ease to use and it’s water-resistant. Portability is a plus for me. I travel with it. I did not necessarily need a new one, as long as the used one was in good condition. I seem to misplace umbrellas everywhere I go. 😉 Certainly a good value for my money.

We actually bought this more for the sun-blocking and shade side of things than for rain, and my wife ended up loving it for that purpose. The biggest thing we noticed immediately is that it genuinely helps with direct sun and heat compared to a normal umbrella. Standing under it during bright sunny days feels noticeably cooler, especially during long outdoor events, walking, fairs, or sitting outside for extended periods. The UPF protection was the main selling point for us, and it definitely feels more like portable shade than just a standard rain umbrella pretending to be “UV resistant.” One thing my wife especially liked is that it doesn’t look overly bulky or weird to carry around despite having good coverage. The auto open and close feature also makes it much more convenient than fighting with old-school umbrellas while trying to carry other things. The build quality feels decent overall, and it handled normal wind better than some cheaper umbrellas we’ve had in the past. The handle and frame also felt sturdier than expected for a travel-style umbrella. It’s obviously still useful for rain too, but for us the real value has been as a portable sunshade option during hot weather. Overall, this turned out to be a really practical purchase for staying cooler outdoors while also helping block a lot of direct sunlight and UV exposure.

No more headaches in the sun. I have tried regular umbrellas. They don't keep me from getting headaches in the sun. This one does the job. It auto opens perfectly. The auto close only gets it half way closed. You have to be very strong to close it the rest of the way. I still love it. UPDATE: I own 2 of these. One broke after just a few months. (The other one is going strong after hundreds of uses.) I only used it maybe 20 times. G4FREE says it has a 1 year warranty, but the link to their site does not work. I was not able to get a replacement. I still give it 4 stars, and I am still buying another one because it does the job and I need it. I tried 2 other brands, and they do not reflect the sun as well.

Kindly reminder...can not wait to have the beautiful umbrella. It says delivered on 14th but nothing. I have it, It is beautiful, ypu can even feel the temp drop a bit when under it. Love it, sturdy. A bit heavy than regular cheap option but is stays perfect when windy!!!!

It’s okay. I didn’t expect high-quality at this price point. Used it for the first time the other day, and was quite surprised when the canopy collapsed multiple times as I was walking in a no wind situation. Then I realized that the button for collapsing it designed to be slightly raised and probate on the handle so it is easy to accidentally trigger. The slightly too short handle length means anyone of average height will be actively carrying the umbrella with a raised elbow. It’s a fine product out-of-the-box, will keep off the sun and rain, it definitely had some function in keeping the heat off me as well as the light (the silver outer material really seemed to perform here, which was great). I like the canopy’s color—silver and sky blue in my order. When it breaks, I’ll try a different model or brand.

This parasol/umbrella is my essential travel companion as I go about my life in Spain. I have Cutaneous Lupus which means I have photosensitivity and I can now shade my head, face and neck safely (aswell as wearing sunblock) without having to wear hats which make my head too hot! The reflective outer prevents the sun's rays from coming through which gives me more confidence to go out and about. Really pleased with this purchase!

Me encanta! elegí uno con estampado de cielo nuboso. Me gusta el material, algo grande y robusto pero cabe en la parte lateral de mi mochila. Vivo en la península de Yucatán, el clima es caluroso. Lo que he notado al usar éste producto durante 20 días: - Ya no siento que se caliente mi cabeza jajaja - Provee buena sombra por lo que ya no me arde la piel por la exposición solar. - Cortaviento? Bastante bien, basta con ponerlo contra viento y regresa a la normalidad. - En lluvia, no decepciona, aunque ya tiene una machita de óxido, quizá no lo sequé bien antes de guardarlo, es mínima y no afecta a su calidad. Chao!

I ordered it when it was on sale. Easy to use. I can open and close it with one hand. Using it in the Saudi heat (50°!). It definitely blocks the sun. Highly recommend. I bought it for 55.98 SAR
