Red Devil 0327 Steel Wool, 4 Extra Coarse (Pack of 8)

bought this to poke in any hole or space to keep mice and bugs out of my house!! works! just be sure to clean up any that falls on floor when you pull it apart so the cat or dog or a child does not get the tiny bits of steel in their mouth or feet. Works great I just use a table knife to push it in under the cabinet or between the floor and the wall. Fill the space around pipes and any hole rotten mice or bugs slip in. Mice can not chew it!!

I got this to put in the holes and stuff in any openings to keep the mice out of the camper. We will see how it works come spring. Very nice quality

I purchased these to block openings where MICE are entering my home. So far, they have helped, but need to shroud the entire home and underneath the home with steel wool! I have never had luck with poisons, and hate the traps, as it still gives me the willies to set and empty the trap after catching a mouse. I also have the electronic "rat killer" (4 of them) and they work great. Sad to say though the light that alerts you when a mouse has been executed will turn on even when there is no mouse inside the housing unit. So have to check it daily or more. I DESPISE MICE AND ELECTROCUTING THEM HELPS ME GET RID OF THEM. Only thing I treat inhumanly.

My 18 year old truck started having rust on the rear chrome bumper. Did a little search. Apparently, rubbing it with steel wool soaked in vinegar takes care of it. It obviously is a temporary solution and it won't work if the rust is deep in the metal. This product worked well. I will perodically check the bumper and reuse it. Recommended.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have 6 months of cold winter, yearly. Living in an older house,which shifts. I get gaps under doors . Mice get cold in winter and look for warm places to sneak into. This is the best thing to stop mice from coming in ! They detest steel wool ~ probably the only thing they WILL NOT chew on ! This is the remedy to keep them out, very strong and great price to fill the gaps! Wonderful product!

Excellent for scrubbing pots. Would buy again

I needed coarse steel wool to get cooked stuff off a pot. While these ultimate did the trick....was still a lot more scrapping than I wanted. I suppose if used to remove paint, the same would be true. It is certainly stronger than typical steel wool, so therefore wins in my book!

Used it to fill cracks and holes on my shed. Mice do not like this stuff!
