Quali-Pro MSM Turf Herbicide 8oz

Works well on Virginia button weed. It does take 10 days or so to see decent results, so don't get in a hurry. Requires very little product to make 4 gallons for treatment. Easy to mix and easy to apply with my battery powered backpack sprayer. Some weeds need a second application if first treatment doesn't take care of them. Didn't harm centipede grass at the recommended mixing levels.

Works great. A bit confusing with having to convert dry to liquid and areas smaller than an acre but dour the job as directed. Not fast acting so give it time to work

This is the best weed killer. Only thing that I found that kills Virginia button weed. It takes a very tiny amount in a gallon sprayer. This bottle will last for years. It comes with a measuring cup thing. You barely cover the bottom of the cup with the product for an entire gallon. It will take a couple of weeks to see results. Great for getting rid of stickers in yard too.

This is a great product but I had to return it. I have trees in my yard which, I learned that, this product could harm. I didn't want to risk it. This was going to get rid of my stubborn weed problem. I'm back on my hands and knees pulling weeds. Nicely packaged and easy return via UPS label.

This product is effective in killing dollar weed. I spoke with the manufacturer's representative concerning the amount of the product to use for a smaller job in a residential application. This herbicide is a very highly concentrated formula used more for a commercial large scale application. However, I used the following formulation using the plastic vial included with the product to mix the formula based upon the information provided by someone who knew the product. I have St. Augustine grass and the dollar weed was taking over areas of the lawn that received less sunlight and in areas that would remain moist after rainfall. Also, it is important to note that I wanted for the St. Augustine to grow back in these same areas after the elimination of the dollar weed so I was conservative with the dose used. Formulation Used: I took a 2 gallon sprayer and filled it with approx. 1.5 gallons of water. Then, using the plastic dosing vial provided with the product which shows 0 to 0.1 oz, I mixed what I estimated to be 1/10 increment of the vial which I estimated to be 1/100 of an oz. of the Herbicide. This is a small fractional amount which just covered the bottom of the vial. If you were to place 10 increments between 0 to 0.1 on the vial the first increment would be 1/10. I poured the granules into a small empty 16oz. plastic water container and filled the container half way with water. I shook the mix very well and emptied the contents in the sprayer. I then mixed the contents in the sprayer well and added a bit more water providing almost 2 gallons of treatment herbicide. I did not use a surfactant as it was explained the solution would be more effective if it soaked the area and hopefully went into the root system to prevent dollar week growth again After a generous application (2 gallons) of the solution on effected areas (approximately 200 sq.ft) the results were as follows: Within 1 week the dollar weed began to wilt and after 2.5 weeks it had browned and was dead. The St. Augustine grass has begun to grow back in the effected areas. The dollar weed did not come back after this treatment. The granulated fertilizers were not effective in killing the dollar weed. However, the MSM Turf Herbicide worked very well. Hopefully, this description will be helpful to others who wish to use the product and require a gauge in formulating dosage.

Great product at a great price!

My lawn is being taken over by Bahia grass. I did some research and found that this product will kill Bahia. It says it right on the label. When I received the chemical, I sat down in my recliner to read the instructions. Yep, I actually read the instructions. I was a little overwhelmed with the label. First of all, it is definitely directed to commercial use. The safety precautions are a little intimidating. But, there is no clear instructions on the ratio of product to water. Someone else who posted a review indicated they had contacted the manufacturer for information. I followed their lead and mixed accordingly. Two weeks later, no real results. I increased the mixture and continued using the chemical. Well, it killed a lot of stuff in my yard, but after four weeks, the Bahia in my yard looks as healthy as ever. Some bare spots to contend with, but that is OK. It does not seem to adversely affect centipede grass. The centipede will eventually take over the bare spots. Overall, I am disappointed. There is always room for error. Maybe I just don't know how to use this stuff. Probably will not buy again. I will consult our local plant nursery for a better idea.

This stuff works on the weeds as claimed. Easy to mix and small amounts go a LONG way making it a great value for the money. Safe handling is clear and useable. I will definitely buy again and recommend it to anyone.
