Tungsten Cube - 1"

This cube was a stocking stuffer for my partner and he loves it! All the men at our Christmas party also were intrigued by the heavy cube. Worth the price! Corners are rounded so they are not sharp. Cube is virtually perfect!

Exceeded expectations.

Nearly everyone who comes into my office has to pick it up and comment on how heavy it is. It’s made from solid Tungsten so it’s not going to break. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

This is nicely finished and has the density expected. There ar no numbers, letters, or other marks on the brushed surface. The alloy (pure tungsten is quite difficult to machine) has some ferrous metal in it, so a magnet will attract it. I wanted to have cubes of various dense metals, but osmium is too toxic, rhenium and iridium too rare, and gold too costly. One hears platinum is getting cheaper. Perhaps soon I'll be able to afford a platinum cube. I bought two and gave one to a well-chosen friend, who appreciated it. I have not used it in any way that would permit me to estimate its durability. Is it fun? Opinions vary wildly. I like mine.

Ordered because I found the idea of owning a tungsten cube fun. Now I’m looking at getting a larger one for my desk because I’ve been carrying it in my pocket.

so the tungsten cube looks great and i like the beaviled edges as tungsten is pretty strong and the one thing i was not expecting was a little triangle stand for the cube pretty nice touch but all in all a nice like show piece and its still crazy just how heavy the little 1 inch cube is

It takes a certain type of person to drop this much money on something like this. You need to love chemistry, science, metals, elements, and the natural world. You need to be somewhat materialistic, and you probably like expensive, unique things. At least that's how I am, and this is one of the coolest things I own. The cube doesn't feel real, like it's made of something you've never seen before. It feels like it is attracted to the table with an electromagnetic force. It really is mesmerizing. I would definitely recommend it for a certain type of person.
