Purchased this camera at the last minute for a job interview because my computer camera was not functioning. It arrived an hour before the zoom interview. It was easy and quick to set up. I looked great on camera. The interviewer commented on how professional my camera and lighting setup were. Great buy.

This is our first web cam purchase for YT and FB streaming. The PC recognized it right away, with no need for drivers to be installed. The picture quality is not as good as it could be, but we are finding that the camera does auto-adjust for lighting, which we have found causes the picture to be too dark when you have too much light on the subject. Less is more with this camera. If you can get the lighting just right, the camera is not too bad. The auto-focus works well. The dual mics are a little "tinny?" but do a well enough job. The mics are quite sensitive and can pick up voice and other sounds from across a room, so keep that in mind. Overall, quite happy with this camera, after learning how to "tune" the lighting, etc.

Update: A customer service rep reached out at the beginning of the year. They were running an end of year audit on reviews. This shows the company is serious about getting feedback and improving, which I can appreciate. They sent me two models (this one, the N930E, and another, which I won't discuss here). The picture quality is still great and I love the ring light, which really can improve the picture quality. I tested the microphone and this one does NOT have the same problem as the previous two I tried (clicking sound when the lens focuses). I guess they just had a bad batch or addressed the problem. I'm tempted to give 5 stars, because I don't think a microphone is of much importance with a webcam (pretty much every device you use it with will have it's own microphone and you can always buy standalone device, which you probably should anyway). I also appreciate the proactiveness of their customer service. I upgraded it from 3 stars to 4. I'm leaving one off simply because the microphone still leaves something to be desired. I'll let you decide if that's important to you or not. Original Review: When I first hooked up the camera it was in poor lighting. I was immediately impressed with the camera quality. The auto focus does a good job, though in general I tend to not be a fan of that feature on any camera. My wife did a live video that night and the first thing I noticed was how absolutely awful the microphone was. I ran various tests on multiple devices and in multiple locations. All the same results. I got in touch with support and they informed me I needed to do an Amazon return since it was the first 30 days. I did this and I had the replacement 2 days later. After several more tests, the second camera has the same issue, as can be heard in my video. Every time the camera focuses, you can hear a clicking in the audio. There's also a constant "whining" or white noise throughout the audio. It's a shame, because the price point and picture quality is great, but I can say with complete confidence that this is by far the worst microphone I've ever used. Bottom Line: If you have a separate microphone, consider getting this. If you expect to use the camera microphone, look elsewhere. I will be returning the second one I got, because while I have a great external microphone, my wife doesn't, and I don't want to worry about moving a separate microphone back and forth.

I like it. I have been using it for over a year for work meetings. I like the sliding lens cover for when not in use. I also like the adjust brightness for the little ring light around it. The better lighting makes me prettier and less tired looking in calls, but it’s more discrete than having an actual ring light on my desk. It’s away to hide that I care about my appearance as much as I do. This camera helps hide that work sucks the life out of me and that I am a little obsessed with my appearance.

I bought this because I wanted a less wide view. Plugged this in. Worked right away (plug and play) Light was nice but the image, with my green screen was terrible. I had simultaneously bought a green screen that mounted to my chair. Much easier than the one I keep having to clamp to my cabinet. The green screen just didn't work well. Too tight a space and it didn't sit up rigidly and plumb so the image sucked. Packed up the cam to send it back. I decided to try it without the green screen so I upacked it and plugged it back in. Next zoom meeting I was going to use it with no green screen and to my surprise the background appeared with NO screen. I had never been able to do that before. So this became an instant keeper. No need for a green screen and crisp chroma key. Love it.

I recently purchased a Mac Mini M1 so obviously I need a HD webcam for work and recreation... there were so many I was literally getting confused which one would be the "better" camera. I first went with the EMeet Nova 1080P webcam, but I didn't like the video quality and there was no way to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. So I returned that and got the Nexigo N930E for a little more money (it was between Nexigo or the Akasa v50 pro (which is more of an action camera but can be set as a webcam and it is more expensive). The Nexigo camera definitely has way better video quality (and for the price) and I like the ring light feature (three levels of lighting) and a webcam cover (which you have to affix yourself). The audio quality is decent but I use my XLR microphone for my audio. I did some video and audio tests on Quicktime. If I set the recording quality to Maximum and had my audio being captured via my XLR microphone, I did noticed that the video capture seem to lag; seems better when recording quality is set to High. If I set the recording quality to Maximum and had both video and audio captured via Nexigo, the video recording is seamless. It's a little thing, but overall I am very satisfied with this webcam.

This camera is a good idea. However, if you are looking for a camera with a ring light because your space is dark, good this one. The auto-exposure exposure does not work in low light situations. The camera is capable of functioning; you can adjust exposure and the image looks good even in low light. However, the setting changes do not persist if you turn the camera off/your meeting ends. This means I have to adjust the exposure 2-10 times a day. I worked with Support and they advised adding more lights to my office or upgrading to a camera with flash memory that could store my settings. For reference, low light in my case means natural light from windows to my right and an LED light clamped on my desk to my left. I know how to properly light spaces but the auto-exposure can’t keep up. I use the same camera in my home office with no exposure issues, but I have overhead lights in use there.

Use this when working from home and it’s way better than my web cam in the office. Does what it needs to and image is clear.

Small, neatly packed box with essentials and a small manual. Being full HD but 30fps, I didn’t think this camera would perform so good. It captures movements sharply, almost as good as their 60fps camera. I got this as it was half the price and sufficed for my work needs. The light is good enough and makes the face lit just good for the video calls. Very happy and you will probably also find it as good.

I was looking for a webcam to attach to my extended screen (I do not use my laptop screen). Because I am looking at my screen while the camera is on the side, I look like I am talking sideways on zoom calls. . It is just better to look straight in the direction of the camera for video calls, so I needed one. In a camera, I was looking for the following - Decent quality (Just good enough for video calls) - No fish lens effect - Preferably not wide-angle - Preferably decent colour - With optional ring light that I can keep off unless required - Privacy protector (Camera cover/slider) I was worried because you get a lot of fake reviews these days, it's hard to trust the reviews. But, here's what I got - - The camera quality - Far better than what I get with my laptop camera, no fish lens effect, not that wide an angle - The attached picture is without the use of any ring lights. I didn't use the one with the camera. My room is lit with lamps that throw lights at the walls because I don't like it in my face. I think the camera captured the colour and light in my room just right. - The ring light with the camera is good though. You can keep it off. I prefer to not use any, because direct lights give me headaches, but the one with the camera is good if someone needs good lighting on their face for some reason. - Could use it out of the box - Attaches easily to the screen Overall, I am absolutely satisfied and got what I was looking for.
