The best figure I own.
Since the price was low and I had been eying this one for a while, I couldn't turn it down. I own the D-Arts Zero and Figuarts Samus. I love both of them, but neither could prepare me for the amount of articulation in this figure. In terms of sculpt and articulation, this is by far the finest figure I own. First things first - This X is big. If you have D-Arts figures (Vile, Sigma [statue], Zero, or other X figures) this guy doesn't scale with them. He's head and shoulders taller than my Zero figure, which fans of Mega Man X will know is backwards. He stands about 6 inches tall, and can be made taller because his legs extend to allow even better posing. This design is aesthetically pleasing, and it'd be great to think they'll use it in a future game that isn't Marvel vs Capcom. The lines add a lot of intricacy and realism, and the addition of "machinery" is a real winner in my opinion. The sculpt is great and the paint job is impressive and accurate, all the way down to the many tiny words and symbols printed on him. Despite the fact most of it is hard to read, under intense scrutiny, it is indeed legible, and while I wouldn't have opted for warning labels on a self aware robot, there's something nice about them. Mine came about as new as it could come - box wrapped in tissue paper and figure covered in anti-scratch plastic which had to be removed. The plastic around his lower torso was a challenge to get off, but everything else was logical and easy to get into place. As the description suggests, there are die cast metal parts on him - specifically, the front of his legs and the front of his chest. I kind of wonder why they went for metal at all, since they could have likely kept the price down if they just used plastic and used metallic paint... but it's cool that they went with metal. It gives the figure a heft that it wouldn't otherwise have and it's neat to touch your figure of a robotic individual and feel the cold metal as you pose him. The weight his legs give make a lot of dynamic standing poses possible. And believe me, you can pose him as dynamically as you want. My first attempt at posing him was the classic "wall slide" pose that the D-Arts Zero can't achieve - this figure can match virtually any pose X was ever in during the games aside from death, and you can easily put him in a variety of iconic poses of other characters if you like. The one word of warning I have about this guy is that he's a little stiff. There are a lot of joints that I felt like I was going to break before I got them to move or open, but the more you move them around, the looser they tend to get. Because he's not part of the D-Arts line, don't expect him to work with any accessories from other figures, but he comes with some nicely sculpted buster shots. The buster does indeed light up with no modifications needed, but I don't find the red light too appealing with the shot parts attached. Overall, great figure. I'm surprised that TruForce didn't take the opportunity to produce a Zero in this series - perhaps they will one day?

TruForce proves it's time to get serious about X!
This is an amazing RockMan X figure imaginative version. The articulation, accessories, and proportions are phenomenal. The articulation is difficult to explain with many types of joints upon joints to make the best articulation possible while keeping the aesthetics intact, but it works wonderfully for this figure. Having the X-Buster LED light-up feature is just icing on the cake. I'm a huge RockMan/MegaMan fan, and this is a very worthy purchase, right on par with the BanDai D-Arts figure. Since this is different from the original Capcom version of X, there are many notable differences between this and the original, but it's undeniable that this is X. If I were to make a few nitpicks, I would have 3. The color itself is a little on the indigo or violet side, which takes away just a bit of the iconic blue, but this is minor. Second, there is a lot of die-cast on the figure, which is great, but it does make the figure very heavy, particularly the legs, and I worry of it will strain the leg joints over time. Lastly, while I love the included stuff, with the exception of the base, stands, and dashing optional parts, the accessories are very similar to the ones included in the Bandai D-Arts MegaMan X. The X-Buster with a normal shot and a charged shot effect parts, 2 optional face parts (normal and "yelling"), and a fist and an open hand per arm. Like I said, I adore these, but in this aspect, hey were almost equal to BanDai. Another "warm grin" or "damaged rage" face would have been a small extra. It's a lot to ask, but I'd have gladly sacrificed all die cast parts for an optional "pulsing" red helmet jewel, as he does when low on health, or even "after burner" effect parts for his dashing parts. Of course, none of this is to diminish the sheer awesomeness of this figure as it is. I would not hesitate to recommend this figure to anyone, be it huge fans of X like me, or moderates. I hope TruForce continues to make more figures just like this, as I am praying for word of a Zero.

Highly posable, hefty construction, and absolutely cool.
Let me start by saying that I almost didn't open it because it looked amazing even just in the box. But I did open it, and I spent time with it, enough to know that the figure is sturdy, heavy at the feet for obvious reasons, and outstandingly cool. Featuring an LED X-Buster, this cool reimagining of X's design is full of angles and cool features, such as the leg boosters. I could gush about it forever but I'm gonna just get the bad thing out of the way. The legs are not very articulate at the joint where it connects to the body, as in they only move two ways, making some poses literally impossible. But that's not really a big deal. Getting X in that kneeling position proved to be a real challenge until I realized what aspect we were looking at, and then I decided I didn't want to use it that way. But back to the good, and I'm not taking a star away from this because of that one issue. Whatever you wanna do with it, it's got everything you need to accomplish that. I loved how well the arms moved and posed, and I loved how the weight in the legs allowed me to make outlandish fighting poses for fun before I settled for the picture I will attach. The LED buster is also super cool. The only thing I absolutely want is an armor version for X's X2 armor.

Gorgeous Model
The detailing is superb on this model. Looks and feels ridiculously good. The design artist really outdid themselves with the hidden jets and overall look. It's 100% megaman but also 100% unique and that's a pretty hard combo to achieve! Despite the description stating parts of this is made with metal, you don't understand the effect of it until it is in your hands. Puts other figures to absolute shame. It's a small touch that adds so much quality, ecstatic about it! LED could be brighter, but the fact that it's there at all is just several kinds of wonderful. The box it comes in is gorgeous. I almost couldn't bring myself to even open it. Big plus for collectors not looking to open! Posability is fantastic, joints have the right amount of stiffness to allow complete maneuverability without losing grip. Can hold some pretty impressive poses! If you're looking for an incredible figure to add to your collection, I highly recommend!

Mega Awesome!
Absolutely outstanding figure. I never had a figure this posable, intricate, well balanced and just downright great looking. Megaman x was the first game i ever played in my life and after almost 3 decades I finally got something of him. He's an artist's iteration, and he is honest about it. He has his ideas such as hidden boosters in his leg and back stabilizers that you can switch out or remove. Honestly I feel they are an awesome addition, as if the upgrades from the original Mega Man has heft and real life impact to it. Only thing I find odd are the warning signs. They are neat and do not break up the silhouette, but X isn't equipment that gets maintained by engineers. I don't see the logic in it but that's a nerdy rant and it doesn't detract from the quality or detail Other reviews already said all the technical info on him. The diecast on the feet and chest make for an awesome feel and puts weight on him. Comes with a stand with two clear arms that holds poses, plus his extra hands, face, and buster shots. I don't regret buying this guy one bit.

Collector? Megaman X fan? Buy it!
My review may not say "Verified Purchase" because I didn't buy it from Amazon, as I was a backer in the Kickstarter but don't let that dissuade you from buying it; this figure is one of the best collectible figurines I've ever bought! It's made of sturdy material, the quality and articulation is outstanding (better than the D-Arts/S.H. Figurarts), and it's a fun figure to pose! It comes with blast shots, booster vents, and the X-Buster has a LED in it to simulate its charging up effect and adds glow to the shot itself! The legs also open to reveal leg boosters to add to the posing options for this figure! If I had to be nickpicky, I would say that while most of the build feels solid, certain joints can come off fairly easily but not so much that you'd have to be gentle with it. If you were on the fence about this one, I'd say get it if you can, you won't regret it!

Beautiful design
I've been waiting eagerly for a while to get this figure, and needless to say, it did not disappoint! Right out of the box, the figure felt incredibly high quality with its immaculate detail and amazing poseability. Sure, the figure may not look accurate to the games, but who cares! It's a beautiful figure with an awesome design. Update: The only problem I've really experienced relates to the legs. Because they're so heavy, you have to use the arms on the display stand if you want to get him into a running pose. (Or other kinds of dynamic poses.) I do still think it's a wonderful figure!

Megaman why are you so amazing? Because I am Blue, duhhhh!
I have wanted a Mega man figure for years. Ever since I was little he was so iconic and awesome. The fact that he is mostly all blue is amazing, cause come on blue is my favorite color. TruForce worked with a designer from Capcom to make this perfect X figure. I am surprised that this design hasn't made its way into a new Megaman video game. Maybe it will someday. This figure is one of the most impressive ones I own. He is mostly made out of plastic, but he has die cast metal in him. He has so many accessory's its amazing. They went all out on this figure. I am a detail freak, and this doesn't leave any out. It has more detail then I thought it did. Down to the joints or even the thrusters. His buster can be put on either side and it comes with batteries to light up the blast effects. The effects are some of the best that come with a figure. Interchanging them is a blast. If you have been thinking about this figure and don't know if you wanna buy it. Don't hesitate, its perfect in every way.
