Official Harry Potter Baking Book (40+ Recipes Inspired by the Films)

This book collects 43 baking recipes, inspired by the Harry Potter universe. The recipes are divided into two categories: Savory and Sweet. The table of contents also includes three different symbols that identify if a recipe is Vegetarian, Vegan, or Gluten-Free; and in total 41 are vegetarian, 9 are vegan and 10 are gluten-free. There is also a difficulty scale, showing how difficult each recipe is on a scale of 1 – 5. “Savory” includes 22 recipes, many bread-based; while“Sweet” includes 21 recipes, mostly cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. (See pictures for the table of contents) Many of the recipes also include “Top Tips”, which contain extra information about cooking or preparing the recipe; as well as “Magical Facts”, which are facts about the Harry Potter movies, usually related to the recipe. There are also pictures of the final product for each one. Overall, this is a great recipe book for a Harry Potter fan that likes to cook. The fan I got this for was very excited, and they started baking some cookies right away!

Bought this after my son took it out at the library about 3 times so we could make the products. My son had so much fun making the things and they are easy to follow

I bought this for my adult daughter who is a huge Harry Potter fan along with some cookie cutters. The pictures in it are wonderful and the recipes are fantastic ideas. She sat and wanted to make almost everything after browsing through the book. I looked over her shoulder while she was looking at it and I wanted one for myself. Perfect gift idea for Harry Potter lovers. I am wanting one for myself just because of the way some of the recipes look when completed. I mean, I'm not quite sure if I have the artistic ability to copy the recipes the way they are supposed to look, and maybe will have some fails, but I'm sure she will. Very cool book!

It's interesting

This is a nice book with imaginative recipes and pretty photos. It is, however, not really a kid -friendly book. Many if the recipes I don't think my kid would be interested in eating, and a lot of the techniques are not beginner friendly. I think she lost interest browsing through it.

My granddaughter loved it!!

I bought this as a gift for a friend (30s) who’s a hardcore Harry Potter fan. I think she’ll like it! I almost wish I could keep it (I might order myself one). It’s just as described and the book is of good quality. It’s not a cheap looking or feeling material. Love it! I’m a millennial and grew up with Harry Potter… and love it! I’ll cook something while watching the movies this winter or while playing the game!
