We always used the curved blade sickle bars, they were old and I thought I was only going to be able to replace them at an antique shop! Although after doing some research, I found these and I wasn't sure how they would work! With that in mind I gave them a shot and they have been a blessing! They are sturdy, have multiple different uses, from cutting down grass, weeds, dead heading flowers and more! The serrated blade is a dream and makes cutting down things with ease! Greta value for your money! Nice size & weight to fit in your pocket and an all around great tool!

Very sharp, so be careful. Cuts down ornamental grasses easily in spring. Would be easier to hold if handle had some shaping to it.

Works well to cut vines and tall grass. Spray with light oil and store in the plastic cover to avoid rusting. I would like a bigger sickle as well but this one is fine for light to medium yardwork

I have thick high grass, tall thistle, stickers and thorns all over my quarter acre property from front to back this sickle made quick work and never lost its cutting edge.

I have a smaller version of this tool. I decided to great one with a larger blade for a larger sod cutting project. However, this blade is simply not as strong nor firm as the smaller bladed tool. It's still useful but I expect the blade to eventually bend and distort. If they reconfigure with a stronger blade, it's a five star item.

The blade isn't just curved on one axis. it also bends to one side which you can't see in the photos. Was going to use it for repotting large bonsai but the side curve will make it impractical.
