Absolutely amazing for recording mixtapes from my pc, I've bought these online and in person and they always deliver the same consistent standard of quality.

You can either buy these or the RTM cassettes. The Maxell are the cheaper choice and sound very good. Outside of these two you do have the option of the non brand china ones, including the fake TDK Bs sold on here. You need a good cassette deck (with adjustable bias) to get the best out of them, and even then they are inferior, so I'd stick to these Maxells, or the RTM if you want to pay more.

The sound quality of the cassettes is very good, comparable to blank cassettes from the 90's that I recorded on recently. The only problem I have is the case the cassette is stored in. Unlike the old blank cassettes I have recorded on, the case for these cassettes are not good at staying closed. Holding the case with a recorded cassette on it, the case opened dropping the cassette to the floor. It's just annoying to me, but not a massive problem (I just need to handle my cassettes with care). The actual cassette is great and recording quality is good, I record from vinyl to cassette and the quality is decent (obviously can't match vinyl itself, but very close to it). I would recommend these cassettes for recording voice or music at a good quality, but note that the cassette cases may not be a good quality when it comes to staying unopened.
