I love these. I used them to replace lights where I already had 2'x2' tiles in a drop ceiling, and they just sit in place like one of the panels. Wiring is as simple as any other light. If using the dimming, research it carefully; you'll need a special 10v dimmer switch, and a harder-to-fine romex wire or separate dimming wire (like speaker cable) if your electrical inspector will approve it. I especially like the switch for color tone. I did not like the built-in box for wiring connections, as it's really small, so I question if daisy chaining is really up to code, especially with the dimming wires.

These lights are very simple to install, are much lighter, and take up much less vertical space than the old u-shape fluorescent fixtures that came with our basement--and they provide a LOT more light! The color temperature and brightness are easily selectable with switches that are easy to access by popping the light out for a moment. I took off one star for the installation process--the knockouts for the strain relief are in the cover for the connection box so you wind up having to suspend both to make the connection, then trying to fight the light and the cover together while installing. Plus, the space for making the connection is really tight even with 14 gauge wire feeding the fixture. I'm not sure how you would manage to squeeze in connections for dimming controls. I wish there was a little more space in that area for making the connection and I wish the cover was just a cover (without the knockouts, which should be on the body of the light).

Noticeable adjustments, extremely easy to install and extremely bright even on lowest power setting. Wiring drops are long enough to wire correctly without pulling from most ceiling boxes. Extremely lightweight but solidly built.

I installed 2x4 and 2x2 lights in a basement. It really brightened things up and the lights were easy to install. I had to surface mount the lights, so I used the available surface mount kits. The kits were a little bit difficult to install, as they were flimsy and hard to hold up to the ceiling. But once installed they were solid. I ordered six of the 2x4 lights and one arrived damage. The seller was easy to work with and sent me a replacement light fixture within a few days. Overall great product for the price and very happy with the customer service.

I used to think these were good lights however, I opened my first box and I already have two defective one has two yellow spots on it the other is crushed from the back side so it looks terrible on the front because the LEDs are closer to the lens. Update.... Another box 1 light won't dim... Never again will I purchase these lights....
