The BEST rib rub on the market. The spice ratio is spot on. It's not too salty. It smells heavenly. The price is perfect for what you get. The color is vibrant which means the spices are good quality. We use this mainly for ribs but it's so good it can be used for many other dishes.

I have been using this item since before there even was an Amazon. I have smoked a lot of ribs and this spice mix beats out all other recipies, secret sauce, bar b que competition experts. It is my personal secret weapon..you all know now. Slather ribs in plain mustard, cover with a generous amount of Pecan Rub and smoke away. The flavor can't be beat.

Sweet, good as a pork rub or for brisket if you use a lot of smoke. Not my first choice for chicken or vegetables.

Best run for smoking pork ribs or roast

Have been looking for a salt- free rub for years; nothing good until now. This does have some salt but very little so you dont have to use it sparingly. Also, unlike others, it doesnt rely on hot pepper (I like to control that seperately) so this is perfect. I use it generously as it makes a wonderful crisp coating with a slighly sweet finish. The best I've ever tried.
