GeeekPi Retro Gaming Nes3Pi Case for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B/B+, ABS Case with Cooling Fan Heatsinks for Raspberry Pi 2B/3B/3B+

Decent little cheap case that completes the look and makes the old Raspberry Pi look like a proper retro gaming console. I didn't use the plastic black heatsinks that came with it as I already have aluminum ones installed, I did use the little copper one on the underside of the board. I see the fan got mixed reviews, some say it's noisey some say it's quiet. I would say mine is more on the noisey side, but believe rather than attaching to the 5v pin (pin 2), you can attach it to pin 1 for 3.3v which slows it down. Will have to test the temps, not sure if the fan will make much difference anyway with the current aluminium heatsinks, it may be overkill. It was easy to put together, all the holes line up with my Pi 3B so connecting and compatibility isn't an issue. Can be a struggle to prise the thing open though. Like others had mentioned it's not the official Retroflag NESPi case but I knew that before ordering as this is around half the cost of those. So five stars from me. Edit: Got another one of these, my sister now wants a retro gaming system! With the first I didn't like that you couldn't see the power light so I installed one. Drilled out the hole in the front. Light flashes whilst loading, on solid when Retropie is ready, and goes off when you shut it down.

I ordered this for my pi 2. And fits perfectly and is easy to assemble. Over the years tech heads (or know it all’s) are always jumping on the bandwagon when a new pi model gets released. I personally still champion the pi 2. Mine emulates flawlessly and see no point in purchasing another updated model as I only use mine for game emulation. Classic games like defender,asteroids,space invaders ect run perfectly. This little box also includes a fan that runs quietly in the background and keeps the board beautifully cool. Even the box it came in is in a style of the nes. A brilliant cheap little case that houses my pi. Love it

It's good at cooling, the material quality a tad questionable, looks really cool and didn't cost that much. I personally wish it didn't have the writing in the front because I'd have liked to put some of my own on there instead. Overall pretty good though.

This is an absolutely fantastic little until which has really helped protect my sons pi and made it much more usable for him. The retro styling is great and it looks really good and the fan was very easy to fit and definitely needed so worth paying a little more for. The first one we received was damaged in transit with the front "loading" flap not really working but it was quickly replaced and the second one had no issues. Definitely recommend.

Great pi case, looks the part and adds a certain arcade look to it, but I am a geek.....

Needed a case after I got my Raspberry Pi3 found this and it is great! was easy to assemble and came with everything to do so. I do love the retro feel it gives.

Plastic heat sinks, Fan is placed in not fixed in and there is no button functionally.

Il prodotto si presenta benissimo, poi se siete anni '80 style non potete perderlo, il Rasp entra benissimo e la ventola fa il suo dovere. Forse è un pò scomoda la chiusura ma tanto non va aperto ogni giorno. Consigliato
