Bought this item from my child who loves art. They’re easily able to custom design their own buttons. Great gift for preteen - young teenager. It is made of plastic but still feels sturdy enough.

I bought the 3" button maker with absolutely no experience, and I didn’t find very clear instructions, so I wanted to share what worked for me!1) Don’t use regular copy paper.The quality wasn’t great. Regular glossy photo paper was actually too thick. I ended up using thin glossy photo paper and it was PERFECT!2) I designed my buttons in Canva using a 3-inch circle template.3) I printed using high-quality photo settings and the colors came out great!4) When using the circle cutter, keep in mind it cuts slightly larger than your design. Try your best to center it. I rotated mine 3 times just to make sure I got a clean cut.5) Follow the instructions for placing the pieces into the machine. You really don’t need to press super hard for it to seal correctly.I was honestly nervous it would require a lot of force and I’d end up breaking the machine, but it was much easier than expected.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and hope it holds up well over time!

Cute project maker for anyone who has kids or needs to make buttons. I've so far used it for 3 different projects while my kids have made everything from badges for their scout troop, to playing with the neighbors. At this point I'll be ordering more button blanks soon. There is no magnet in this kit though not that I was expecting one. The size here seems to be perfect for multiple uses.

not to heavy but hard to make and when i tried to make one, the back thing of the pin wasn’t sticking on and the paper didn’t stick on either. i got the green one (doesn’t matter) but it was horrible.

It's very good quality. The pins are quite large so not that many can fit on my bag.. but it is great anyways and the pins have very good quality backs.

I bought this for my daughter because she loves making buttons and it has been a huge hit. You should definitely be aware that there is a bit of a learning curve especially for kids. My husband had to step in and do the first bunch to figure out the process but now that she has the hang of it she absolutely loves it. It is a fantastic way for her to be creative and make something custom and unique. Once you get past that initial setup and practice phase it works great and provides hours of entertainment. If you are looking for a fun DIY gift just be prepared to give a little bit of help at the start. It is a real win now that she can do it on her own.
