Noctua lives up to the hype
I upgraded from the stock AMD ryzen 5600 cooler and wow, truly life changing. I upgraded my cpu a year ago, and from the start my temps were higher than usual, idling is was around 60-70 degrees and under load I was maxing out at 97 degrees. I repasted after a few days and nothing changed, was still getting high temps but never had any crashes so I just dealt with it and told myself I’d upgrade at a later time. I was planing on going with something from cooler master or bequiet but Noctua was always a brand that stuck out based off what I’d heard in the community over the last few years. I figured I might as well spend the extra money since they’ve been highly rated and reviewed, and it was the best decision I’ve made all year. First off it was the easiest cooler I’ve yet to install (if you’ve dealt with the AMD wraith you know the pain) and immediately my temps have greatly improved, with discord, YouTube, and steam downloads going it’s currently at 37 degrees, and so far the highest it’s been while gaming is 65 degrees. Also I didn’t realize how loud my fans were before, now my rig has been quieter than I thought was even possible. Everything about this cooler has greatly improved my experience and I will continue to purchase Noctua products for all my future builds. If you’re in the fence between this cooler and another, easily get this one, or any other from Noctua, even if you’re considering an AIO I’d recommend this any day.

Worth the Price
I bought two of these, one for a 3rd generation Intel i7 3370K on an ASUS P8Z77-V ATX motherboard that was running a 120 mm push-pull AIO system that was about 13 years old, and the other on an MSI MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX motherboard running a 13th generation Intel i5 13500. The ASUS was running a CPU temperature of 29 °C at idle with a room temperature of 65 °F. With the Noctua, the CPU temperatures dropped to from 23 °C at idle with the same room temperature. I'm not a gamer, so I couldn't really stress the system, but it never went over 25 with the Noctua doing the things I ordinarily do. The MSI was running a CPU temperature of between 19 and 22 °C at a room temperature of 65 °F with the OEM Intel fan. With the Noctua, the temperature dropped to 15-17 °C at the same ambient temperature. I didn't do any benchmarking with the CPUs stressed, but I'm impressed with the results I got doing the things I do. There were no RAM or PCIe clearance issues on either motherboard. The instructions that came with the Noctua were clear and easy to follow. The cooler and all the hardware was very well made. I'm a Noctua convert. The installation went smoothly on both boards, and the mounting system is very sturdy.

Can confirm it does work withthe LGA 1700 socket
Got this for my NZXT gaming PC build which has an i5 12600K. Does fit the LGA 1700 socket and includes thermal paste & mounting brackets for both Intel & AMD sockets. It was a bit of a hassel getting the Intel adapter installed but it does fit. Instructions could have been better though. Seems like good quality & seems to work very well. Keeps my CPU running cool & is pretty quiet. I also like the black color better than the usual ugly beige & brown color scheme this brand usualy in an almost stubborn way colors their coolers. Just wish this brand made more color options & maybe one with RGB lighting. They just need more gaming PC friendly options. Other than that seems like a well made cooler for under $100 & gets the job done.

Necessary for Acer Predator Orion 3000
I don’t know much about computers but I recently bought an Acer Predator Orion 3000 and noticed the cpu basically lived at 90°C and would hardly come down if not in standby. With this cooler, cpu temps are the least of my concern. Intensive gaming it might hit 70° briefly but normally lives around 50°-60° while gaming. **if you’re purchasing for your Acer predator, pick up some M3x0.5 x 12mm screws as you will need those for the install

Great cpu cooler fan!
Really appreciate this product. It had connections to the motherboard that I had to finagle because of the fact I have an HP Omen that, for some reason, likes to be a hybrid of the connections between both options this gives you. It works great and installation was easy. It's very quiet for me, even without the quiet adapter on. Keeping my system cool. Would buy another of noctua when I need one.

Looks and sounds awesome
Perfect for smaller cases or for non-extreme-overclocking setups. Looks and feels great, the fan is very silent.

It is Noctua....and it's black
I like the fact that Noctua started doing their coolers in black instead of just that awful brown and beige. The name is well known for it's quality. They are a little pricey but it is generally a direct correlation to getting what you pay for. This cooler was the largest cooler that I could fit into a case I opted to use (Rajintek Metis). It is cooling an 11600K and keeps the CPU under mid 80's even under bench loads. It typically idles around 32-ish. It is FAR FAR quieter than an Evo 212 and does a much better job at cooling. I don't think this would be a surprise to anyone that watches reviews and performance tests of the various available air coolers. It does not keep the CPU cool when OC at all. I didn't expect it would so that wasn't a surprise. The single biggest drawback that I have found to this cooler has to do with it's RAM compatibility. Noctua has a compatibility 'look up' on it's site along with loads of other information about each cooler and the CPU you plan to use with it. It states that is it compatible with all types of RAM on all types of motherboard... Now, by way of overhang of the RAM slot, that is fine as it does not. But, an issue that you do run into is that unless you are using very low profile RAM the top of the sticks will then be higher than the bottom of the fan housing. For instance, some of the Corsair Vengeance RGB sticks were tall enough to be in front of the fan. I ended up utilizing some XPG that have a bit of a "V" design on the heat sink and they fairly matched the curve of the fan without obstructing it. I wouldn't expect that the RAM being taller would cause cooling issue, but didn't really test that as the ergonomic (look) of it just irritated me. Installs easy, great instructions, loads of information on site about them and their capabilities even though they don't use the "TDP" standard (as mixed up as it is). There are more robust, and obviously far larger, coolers in their lineup, but if you have a space (particularly height) issue this is a good fallback. The only other cooler I could find comparable was a BeQuiet in a similar size, so I went with what I know is good.

Amazing Value for the Performance!
After building my first PC and attempting to run the Intel stock cooler it became evident I needed better cooling. I was above 80 C until I added two more case fans and replaced the cooler with this Noctua NH-U9S. The installation instructions were very clear and easy to follow. My experience was a little more involved because I was replacing on an existing build so I had to do a fair amount of dismantling. I specifically did not want any RGB and the Chromax Black looked amazing. With it only being 92 mm it fit perfectly in my case. After running it now for a couple months I am very pleased with its performance. Depending on the ambient temperature of my room, the CPU never goes above 62 C. A very dramatic improvement. I first ran the cooler with the quiet mode cable that comes with it but have since removed it because I could not control the fan curve in the bios with it plugged in. Overall would highly recommend for someone who doesn’t want RGB and looking for great value and wants to adequately cool their CPU.

The way to Go with HP Omen 25L or 30L
I love Noctua. I got this at the recommendation of DanKamYouKnow. As The title says, I have an Omen and these are Notorious for their Hellishly High Heat. I can say this will keep Your Omen cool with a Couple more Noctua fans. This was easy to install, Its very Quiet compared to the stock Air cooler that come with the Omen 25L This Air Cooler will definitely do the Job, my Omen would run around 72°C ish Idling, now it sits around 55°C. The Highest Temp I got during a stress Test was 64°C, where before it would cap out at 88°C in the 2 minute Stress Test

A funcionar. La verdad que una maravilla.

Parfait !
