I got these pens for writing at night and after using them a few times, I really like them. I was worried the ink and ball point would not be very smooth, since often products will be of less quality in one feature to have the other quality, such as lights in this case. I've had some pretty crappy ball point pens before that bleed and write terribly. These are not like that. The writing is smooth, the ink flow is not too much or too little, and it's easy to write with. I am surprised how nice they are to write with and I love that about them.The lights are also great. The blue one can be a little too bright when I'm tired, so the red is much softer and nicer. However, on other days the blue light is fine. Also, it doesn't actually look blue, it's just referring to the warmth factor of the light. It's a cool light vs. a yellow warm light like the red.Some people are saying that the clicking sound the pen makes is too loud. I don't find the sound any louder than a regular clicking pen. I've heard louder clicking pens than this.The only minor issue was a battery was corroded in one of the pens. I replaced it with a backup and it works fine. Both pens work great. I contacted customer service and they're going to send me another battery since I already had to get into the backup packs. They are very quick to respond, polite and friendly. To be honest, I know these kinds of products can have these kinds of issues, it's just the nature of this kind of stuff, and that's the main reason I bought these pens vs. others. Because other reviewers said how amazing the customer service is. Life isn't perfect, but when people are nice and accountable, that means everything to me.So if you have similar values, this company is great. And the pens are too.

Penyeah Pen with Light, Pen Light Flashlight, Lighted Tip Pen Light, 2pack - Red - These are fantastic pens for writing at night. I have only used them a couple of nights, but they write nicely and are bright. I am going to add some opaque tape at the tip to tone down the brightness at night like other reviewers have mentioned. They came with two extra batteries and four extra ink refills in a resealable plastic bag to keep air out. The ink refills do not seem very large, and I am not sure how long the ink will last, so I am happy that they included extra ink refills.

These pens are great quality. They were purchased for journal writing in the dark, at night, while trying not to wake someone. It would be a GREAT flashlight in an emergency, as a travel flashlight; Just not a good one for our purposes. It’s SO bright, you may as well use a regular flashlight instead of this small one, defeating the purpose. It makes a nice multi-tool if you need a pen/flashlight though.

I’m very picky about pens and how they feel and how they write and this one is fantastic. I’m very impressed. It feels good, it’s a good weight and very functional that you can use it without the lights too. I like the blue one especially great for babies rooms - it’s just enough light to see what’s going on without awakening anyone. Also great for writing- the white one can be doubled as a little flashlight as it’s more bright. For writing in the middle of the night I think I would prefer the blue one. I haven’t tried them out for that yet but very impressed. I am recommending these and giving them as gifts now.

I've had these for a month now, and feel happy enough with them to write a review. I bought one Glo pen for myself and one for a gift. They are ballpoint , and I like the smooth way they write, without the little globs of ink cheap pens leave behind. The to is a nice size, fine, but not extra fine. Mine write black.The LED light is the best feature, nice and bright, clear white light, nice for taking notes in a dark auditorium or writing stories in bed. I kept the cap on mine, since I carry it in my purse, and don't want to accidentally wear down the batteries.Each pen came with several refills, and am extra set of batteries. I'd suggest you keep the little set of directions on how to change them.Overall, a great purchase and my friend was delighted with hers, too!

BEST lighted pen I have found. Sturdy, comfortable in the hand, long battery life, generous package (with pen refills, extra batteries). GREAT gift. I travel with 3 or 4 in my bags, end up giving them away everywhere I go as gifts. Memorable, useful, strong. Truly a well-designed and built product. Thumbs UP.

I use these lighted pens to write notes in the dark during paranormal investigations.You have to click it four times to cycle from the light off and the refill retracted back to that state again.They are okay most of the time, but they are also "finicky". Sometimes the pen refill won't retract. Sometimes the light won't come on, or go off. Very often the light flickers while you are writing.When you open this pen up, you can see that it has two different springs (one inside the other) that have to be positioned exactly right in order to work. This makes changing the pen refill a nightmare. The whole thing is way too complicated.Just make me a pen that has a button to turn a light at the tip on and off. That is what I need.These complicated pens are the closest thing I can find to do what I want at a price I can afford, so I have no choice but to continue using them.EDIT... The seller contacted me through Amazon saying that they do sell a pen with a lighted tip that just has an on/off switch without the 4-click, double spring mechanism (B07MMQST8W). I have ordered one, but it will take several weeks to arrive.

Great pens for older people , great for people that write a lot outside, in the truck or car.

These pens have been invaluable! Saved many an argument from a disgruntled partner! Enough replacement batteries and refills to keep you going for a while.Just to note- all replacement parts are available in Amazon, so you'll never need to dispose of this unless you damage it somehow. I'd buy these again tomorrow if I needed to!

I was 'Extremely Pleased' with this order. I was very surprised to find in the package (thought I was only getting the 2 pens) 2 packs of batteries and ink refills, several of them. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are a Nurse or Security Guard, or Police Officer. I just love them so much I plan of buying more but a different style. Thank You.
