How does the one handed operation work?

"Simple one-handed motion grabs, holds, pulls and removes outer jacket " this is not really quite true. This info probably refers to a mechanized stripping tool. It's not a mechanized stripper! Although when the cut is made to the insulation, just pull the cutter along with the cut piece of insulation; with "one hand".

will this work for coaxial cable wire?

Although I have not used the tool on coax yet, it should work just fine for the center lead. You will have to handle the outer jacket and shield another way, but this should strip the center insulation without any problem. I have used the tool on 22- and 24-gauge audio and DMX (theatrical lighting network) wires. It works great.

Excelente para pelar cables de red, yo lo use para un proyecto de electrónica donde tenia que conectar componentes con cables de red y me fue de utilidad, sin estas pinzas tenía que hacerlo de manera rudimentaria con un cortarlas o con un cuter y tardaba mucho, las pinzas me ayudaron a terminar en 10min lo que antes me hacía en 1 hora
