Fits And Charges An Amazon Fire HD 8
I have an Amazon Fire HD 8. This cable is a perfect fit. The original cable which was included with the tablet stopped charging the device. This cable fits perfectly in the micro USB port on the tablet. The other end has a standard-A USB, which can be charged from a computer, or attached to a charging brick and plugged into the wall outlet. It is very flexible since it is a braided cord. Since it does the job of charging my device, I'm happy.

Fantastic Quality
I've now had this cord for a few months and have been absolutely Thrilled with its durability and charging for my Kindle. Incredibly Slow charging from my laptop so definitely use the outlet, that's incredibly Fast. I haven't needed the extra length so I have most of the cord wound up with the twist-tie. Love the bright purple. I used a Sharpie to indicate what direction is up on the connection to my Kindle. It was annoying to have to figure out which direction to put in the slot. The original cord that came with the Kindle was cheaply made. Almost immediately the wires inside the rubber cord was twisting and took Hours to fully charge. Within a few months I bought a replacement cord and the same thing occurred. When I saw how sturdy this cord looked I had to try it. Love It!!! Definitely going to get the blue one. Keep one upstairs and one downstairs.

What's the most important thing to know? I've had it with this shister company
I'm so sick of Amazon and their cheap products. NO. It will not fit into my Kindle. My Kindle that I have been using for about 2 weeks that I can't keep charged due to a faulty table and now cables that sell for charging them and you can't even fit it in to the scrappy tablet anyway. Keep over pricing and selling crap and you will be down and out like qvc and the rest of them. That one star is mandatory, but picture it with a minus in front of it.

Tightly Woven, Strong Charging Cable
Fits my Kobo Forma e-reader way better than the charging cable that came with it! It’s tighter as it snaps into place and doesn’t feel like it is going to fall out. I think it charges way faster too! The cord is a tightly woven fabric that I think is nylon, not as soft and as flexible as TPE, but feels stronger and probably would last longer. The only problem, which is my own fault is that I should have ordered 10 feet as I like to read in bed and get frustrated when the battery dies and I want to keep reading!
