Excellent microphone with very clear sound quality. Easy to set up and use straight away. Perfect for gaming, calls, and streaming. The compact design is a bonus and the overall build quality feels premium.

If you want a GOOD high quality budget mic in my opinion this is probably the best option, the sound is very high quality considering this is on the cheaper sides as far as a good mic goes. It is extremely easy to use you literally plug and play. It also come with a good little stand that functions very well but if you have a boom arm you just screw it into the bottom under the stand. Its minimalistic and portable this would be a good option if your in a situation where you will be traveling. I could not recommend this product enough! 10/10

The HyperX SoloCast sounds great out of the box, is easy to set up, and has good quality, rich sound for the price. For under £50, it's well worth it. I like the size of the SoloCast, it's perfect for placing it on your desk for a video call, or any kind of recording - even without a boom arm (though I would recommend using one). It;s just over 7 inches tall with the removable stand, and the tilt and 90 degree rotation comes in handy. It's worth testing the audio quality out to see what suits your personal preferences, but the mic does a great job of capturing audio while at various angles and distances. The USB-C cable is what stood out to me, as it's a shame when microphones like the Blue Yeti are stuck with micro usb. The cable is a very decent length of about 2m, and you can always use another cable if you misplace it. The noise supression isn't amazing. As the stand isn't super sturdy, if you make any movements like typing on a keyboard or touching anything around the desk/boom arm/etc, this can be easily picked up by the mic. I find the tap to mute button especially useful here, as I can be typing away whilst on a call, and not have to worry about the sound interfering. I was torn between this or the Quadcast, which was significantly more expensive at the time I was shopping around - at least twice the price, if not more. If the price difference is only £20/30 then I would probably go for the Quadcast, as you get such features as the 4 polar patterns, shock mount, pop filter, gain control, headphone jack, etc. The SoloCast only records in cardioid, but this isn't a problem if you just need a fairly simple microphone. I haven't tested it out gaming yet, so can't speak to that, but with video/audio calls over the computer, it does a brilliant job. I've been using it for a few months now, and haven't had any issues. It's improved my set-up, and works perfectly.

Been using this mic for a long time. Recommended it to my friends. It's value for money is incredible. It's plug and play, had a button to toggle the mic at the top. I'm clear to everyone I speak to, borderline professional quality audio. It's small, and can switch from its stand to a separate mic arm quickly, making it versatile. Volume is controlled in your settings. Functions well, and I've never had an issue with it. I'd def buy this again if I ever needed to. My Mic for life.

The microphone itself, for the price is an awesome piece of kit for a USB Mic. Have had people tell me how clear it is in comparison to the one I had and it, small and the top mute button is sensitive and very useful. Only complaint is the software, it's clunky and not very good. I've still got it installed but never really open it so don't let that worry you too much. I bought a stand for it to bring it up to mouth level and its a great addition to my set up.

Brilliant affordable mic. Been using this for over a year, possibly 2 now and it's stayed true to it's purpose. Works as intended out of the box and clarity of the audio is Brilliant. Use this for work and gaming sessions and never have any complaints.

After looking for an affordable mic and seeing many, but all had bad reviews. I stumbled onto the HyperX Solocast, after reading reviews and doing an internet deep dive, I read nothing but praise. I can wholeheartedly say that this mic lives upto the great reviews it has received. I use this for streaming, and the sound quality is fantastic, and it's plug and play; you don't need to download the app if you don't want the extra bloatware on your PC.

Spend the extra money and get something different the audio quality is less of that of a cheap headset. With desktop mic's its go hard or don't bother. Picks up cars driving past when my windows open and any sound at all in the house, noise suppression software is needed to even use it. You get what you pay for i guess

Ik ontving helaas een gebruikt exemplaar, maar hij was compleet en functioneert goed. Ik moest hem alleen wel schoonmaken, want hij was een beetje vies. Prima microfoon met erg mooi en warm geluid. Je moet hem wel heel dichtbij hebben voor het perfecte geluid, denk aan max 15cm afstand. Als je hem verder weg houdt, wordt het geluid beduidend zachter en ga je (vanwege gain) steeds meer achtergrondgeluiden horen. Als je de meegeleverde standaard gebruikt, staat hij dus eigenlijk altijd te ver weg om echt beter te zijn dan bijvoorbeeld de ingebouwde microfoon van je laptop. Werkt zonder drivers etc. gelijk op een Mac en is beschikbaar in al mijn apps zoals Teams, Slack, en QuickTime.

Tap to mute option is great in this price range which makes me bought this instead of Razer. And build quality is also great
