My husband is a fanatic about having sharp knives. This sharpener is his answer. You can position the sharpener for different blade types, and it puts a lasting sharpness on all of them. It did a fantastic job on my scissors. It is very light and easy to use. If instructions are followed, it is very safe to use. Except for the blades, it is made mostly of plastic. It is inexpensive but works like a very expensive sharpener. We love it!

Have bought sharpener after sharpener. This one is it!. Had it for about a year. Use it mostly on pocket and tactical knives. Works fantastic!. Had to play with the angle settings in the beginning but now a razor edge is ten strokes away!. Easy to use. Safe. Reasonably priced. Seems to be holding up fine. Pretty happy with this product.

I had an older Chef's Choice sharpener for 3 years that was finally wearing out. I ordered a new Chef's Choice 4643 and this one because it has a scissors sharpener and a selectable blade angle. I have a number knives that I keep sharp, some are less expensive Japanese knives that work well, but many are more expensive Japanese and German knives. Although I like the size and weight of this sharpener and it is easy to use, I wasn't happy with the way the blades slide through the sharpening slot. The instructions say to pull the blade through the sharpening slot10-15 times. Having set the sharpener to the preferred angle, the knives did not easily slide on the sharpening slot. Then knives seemed to get caught in the slot and did not move smoothly. The polishing slot worked better, but the knives were not sharpened, and even duller than when I started. Die hard that I am, I did try sharpening some of the knives again in case I did something wrong. The knives finally did get sharpened, but it took multiple tries. I also tried the scissors sharpener which was the primary reason I bought this sharpener. It did help to sharpen the scissors, but I believe I could find a dedicated scissors sharpener for less than $50. I decided to return this sharpener and stay with the Chef's Choice sharpener that lasts for at least 3 years for my knives.

This knife sharpener got me going! I watched video reviews while it was being delivered by Amazon. I took out my knives and had AI tell me what angles I should use in the pictures that I uploaded seeing that this sharpener is adjustable which is something I've never had, mine was a fixed one, only a single angle which I now know different knives have different angles. So to stop being long winded, this adjustable sharpener is absolutely the best, I did 10 knives of different applications and wish I had more, it was so much fun! I highly recommend this knife sharpener to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

This is a very good product. It is very stable, easy to handle, sharpens knives and scissors quickly, and small enough to store easily

It’s lovely easy to use. Comes in a nice case. My knives are sharp!!

I have had every sharpener known to man I think and they all fall short, way short, of this one. It's a bit expensive but worth it.

This is a great item. It is as good as they say it is.

The product came quickly. I used the sharpener on a couple dull knives I had to my amazement the knives were very sharp and do as advertised. I'll be keeping this.
