Nuvo Cabinet Paint (Titanium Infusion) Quart

This is probably the best furniture paint I've ever bought. We steipped the previous paint (which was streaky, not this brand) and stained them. The stain was supposed to be dark, but we just couldn't get it to how it was advertised no matter how many coats we did. We left it for a few months, and I was going to try staining it again. I ended up buying this paint instead. This paint is thin but has really good coverage after 2 coats ! It seaps into the wood grain so now my cabinets look like how I wanted then to look with the stain. The undertone of this brown really makes our gold fixtures pop !

6+ MONTHS. I waited over 6 months to review because the initial results were almost too good to be true. Prepped per directions and only sanded some chips in the finish. No top coat. Literally used a chip brush! I don't remember if this was 2 coats or just one. But I have almost 2/3 left of the 1 quart container, so probably one. This paint is STILL almost too good to be true! This will be a rental unit soon so I've intentionally been "careless" with how I've treated it. It looks like I did it yesterday. I wasn't picky about color but color was what I expected. I won't hesitate to use Nuvo on other projects. Couldn't be happier.

I used primer instead of sanding. GREAT produce!! Check out my before and after pictures at our income property!!! I used navy on the lowers and antique white on uppers. I am NOT a good painter and I HATE DiY projects.... even I was able to create a great end result with this product!!

Love the color

I was redoing the guest bath for a forest/farm style theme. I picked this color as a soft contrast to the gray. I sanded the cabinets and applied deglosser for a couple of days before hand. The cabinets are light color so I skipped the primer. I was worried the paint would spill in transit. This was the first time i ordered paint online. Luckily it arrived intact with fasteners on the lid (see pic 1). I popped the lid to verify the color. Its exactly what i wanted! I took a pic of it in the brightest natural light available (pic 2). Application was pretty easy. I average 2 coats (3 at most) for the cabinet structure, doors and drawer. It tries very easy, about 1 episode of your favorite show (30 mins) for each application. However, I did experience some crackling exactly 3 spots (one under the counter, one part of the door frame, and one of the doors along the knob). When i painted, i know temperature affects the paint, so i did make sure to paint in early evening when it was cooler. I let the crackling go cause it plays up that farmhouse/vintage feel. Perhaps the darker colors make it look less noticeable? I took my time with this project taking a couple of days. Overall, it applied well and i was able to achieve the look I was looking for (last two pics are my before and after). However, the consistency was a tad thick and if youre not patient, application can be a bit globby. I read a lot of reviews with this product (not necessarily the same color) where people have crackling issues. For the price, it was okay. I had a little bit of product left (just enough for touch ups)

Love this paint! It went on so easy and smooth, dried quickly and so far (knock on wood) has been easy to clean when my kids have dribbled or splattered food on my cabinets. I haven't used any harsh chemicals on them, just a little soap and water so far, but they look beautiful and it has really given my kitchen a much needed face lift! I will say, it's not exactly the color it shows on the can but it's not white white like some of the other reviews have said. It's more of an antique white which is perfect for what I was wanting. The key to getting the perfect shade, I think is in the mixing...I shook and shook and then shook a little more, then after I opened the can, I used a paint stir and made sure to stir all the way to the bottom of the can.

I just bought a house and I desperately wanted to change the cabinets and the red brick fireplace. I did some research and found Nuvo and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did. I’ve added photos to show the HUGE difference a can of paint makes. It’s remarkable. I decided to “white”wash my fireplace using the Driftwood color and water. It took a couple coats...was very easy to do and looks great! The cabinets were a pain to paint but they always are. The most important thing is CLEANING your cabinets well. If you think they’re clean...scrub again. I thought I had done a good job but unfortunately, I didn’t do as well as I thought. There are a few places that the paint is cracking because there was still some greasy/dirty areas. It’s not overly noticeable and I decided to leave it as is and go with a slightly “rustic” look (ie lazy). There is no need to sand with this product which was great. And I chose not to remove the doors which was fine too. I didn’t prime and it only took 2 coats to get great coverage. I’m pleased with the outcome. I chose not to use a sealant (but I debated on putting on a coat of polyacrylic)...so we will see how the cabinet paint holds up over time. This product goes a long way too. The kit come with 2 small cans of paint but I purchased 2 extra “just in case”. For my fireplace and the kitchen cabinets, I only used 1 1/2 cans. I have enough left over to paint the cabinets in our two bathrooms! Overall, this was a great buy. It was easy to use. It turned out great. It’s made a huge difference in our new home.

Love this paint and color! I did the extra work and sanded and primed several times. rollers did not work for me and I tried several. Purdy paint brushes did perfect. Only took me 2 coats my 20 year old bathroom vanity looks like brand new. only thing I don't care for is the curing time up to 30 days. so I don't plan on putting my drawers in until within that time frame. Hopefully within a couple months I'll be doing my kitchen cabinets. I'm waiting to see how this paint does first. will give another review if anything changes.

Beau fini et laisse la texture du bois (si mis sur des surfaces de bois). Mes portes d'armoiries étaient vernis mais le grain du bois est encore là après 3 couches de peinture. J'adore ma cuisine maintenant! Facile à utiliser, ne vous fiez pas au résultat de la première couche.

Loved it! Great quality and goes on smooth. Took 4 coats to cover my dark cabinets

Looks like a sprayed on finish when dry. Super easy to work with

This paint really does cover the pine knots in my kitchen cupboards however it takes a few coats to match up with the cupboards.

Love this paint! I’m a huge Fusion brand paint but this surpassed my expectations. I did sand lightly and I did prime and you can see how beautiful they turned out
