IP66 External/Outdoor Waterproof Junction Box (86x86x50mm)

I ordered this junction box with a Reolink camera. The camera has waterproof leads for Ethernet and power, and I wanted to keep them dry. It was easy to install and looks neat and professional.

I was very pleased with my purchase, Good price and the delivery was quick as expected, very easy to use and looks nice and neat, thank you.

On initial purchase and use these items seem excellent, and easier to use that some alternatives. But, the real test will be weather they remain water tight over a long, wet, cold, British winter, and I won't know that for a further six months.

So many ways of fixing to a surface and easy cover removal. No connectors inside so must supply your own. Also many ways for cable entry.

Box is functional, but the mounting plate has two lugs to hold the box, on trying to work out how to mount the box, one of the lugs snapped off immediately! Fortunately, I had purchased two boxes. So box is great, mounting plate is fragile.

second one of these I've bought. Does the job well and easily fitted to wall with included bracket without drilling into main box.

Just posting this to help others. This is a perfectly good junction box. However, be warned despite being made and sold by Armakit it is not compatible with their armoured cable glands as there is not enough space for the locking nut due to the profile of the rear of the box.
